Very easy to put together. Very good materials which ends up feeling very high quality when put together. Very difficult to slide out though. It kind of locks in place when you push it in all the way but pulling it back out would sometimes start to make the entire thing come loose and want to come off the desk. Not sure if they are all like this or mine was defective, but it sure seemed like it wasn’t a mistake. I could let everything slide if not for one annoyance: this thing is freaking massive. It is insanely wide for some reason, I could fit my full size keyboard, mouse and mousepad, and still have room for my phone, a drink, a notepad, and more. I just wanted a sliding under desk keyboard holder, not a second mini desk. If you have the tools you could cut the wood and drill new holes and lessen the width, but it would be easier to buy a better one that fits. I have a huge work desk to work from home and this BARELY fit. Tried it on multiple other desks for my kids and in-laws and it fit none of theirs. Also way overprice for what it is. At best maybe worth $20-$25.

My adjustable desk has a wood block countertop and, for years, I just had my keyboard on top. This meant that I was looking down at my monitor, as any higher would have put my arms at an awkward angle. Now, thanks to the adjustable height of the pullout drawer, I can lift the desk about 6 more inches, putting the monitor closer to eye level.Much more comfortable.Super easy to install and, as I have an oversized mousepad, the clamp is keeping it in place, as I was always having to adjust it. I like it even on the front edge of the desktop.

This is a very well made keyboard tray. It is super easy to assemble and install and the surface area of the tray is quite large. It's large enough to accommodate a full size keyboard and mouse. My only complaint is that it isn't big enough to fit the xxl mousepads, leaving them to curl up in the sides. Other than that, it is very easy to adjust up and down to suite your needs. The cost is approx. 60 dollars and based of the quality and versatility of this tray, I think that's just about right.

I have a secondary keyboard that I need to have stowed away most of the time, but which I can access easily when I need it, so I opted to order this tray. The tray was reasonably easy and quick to assemble using the tools provided in the box, and I also found it very easy to fit the tray to the desk using the provided clamps. The tray itself comes in two pieces that you have to connect in the middle via brackets -- I suppose this makes it easier to ship. It's a little odd to do it that way, but it's sturdy enough, particularly for something as light as a keyboard. The tray pulls out reasonably easy -- certainly well enough for anything at this price point. There are two downsides. The first is that I can't pull my chair all the way to the desk anymore because the armrests hit it, and I can't lower them any farther. (The tray subtracts 4" of height to the desk.) The other problem is that the tray sits right at the edge of the desk when retracted, meaning it tends to press into my stomach even when I'm not using it (again, the depth is a problem here).Overall, though, it functions well and I'll be keeping it.

I had an adjustable desk. Then I got rid of it. Then I bought a lift top desk because it was prettier. And that’s is where I screwed up. I am 5’2”. I couldn’t use my desk standing up because my arms would be at the same level as my chest to work and that’s not comfortable.I didn’t want to get one that I would have to drill into my desk either just in case it still wouldn’t work due to my height.I got this. I love it. It was easy to assemble. The instructions look like a lot, but it’s simple. It sets my keyboard at the right level for me. It totally meets my requirements. Granted, I now can’t close my lift top, unless I remove the attachment. Removing the attachment only takes about 90 seconds. The size of the keyboard is good. This was a good option for me. The only thing I would have liked to see what one solid piece for the shelf. Instead it came in 2 sections. To me, it is one possibility to make it less stable.Speaking of stability. The sides of my desk top is rounded. I was still able to make sure the fit is tight. Now I wouldn’t go and lean on the keyboard but using it normally, it is fine. I used it for over 8 hours today so far. Also, it has a hole to manage the cord in case you don’t have a wireless mouse. Same with the keyboard. It has a metal attachment that has grooves for cord management.

This was a free product. However, I have no incentive to be biased towards or against this product.Let's start with the one and only con that I could find. The front of each tray slide rail sticks out about a inch. Not a problem with the tray is pulled out. But, it could be a problem when it's pushed back under the desk. Not enough, in my book, to take any stars off.Now for the pros. The Hemudu Keyboard Tray was very easy to put together and it came with easy to understand instructions (should you need it). I do wish that the tray was a single piece instead of two pieces, though. The C-clamps are fairly hefty. Yet, they have protective rubber or silicon that prevents damaging your desk. You can set the height to three different levels. Best part of it is that the tray can be hooked anywhere along the desk that makes sense to you. No need to screw it down/up into the desk. Bought yourself another desk? Just simply detach the tray from the old desk and attach to the new desk.I've always hated desks that have the trays pre-built into them. Being long legged, I've always wound up banging my knees on them. Not an issue with this keyboard tray. I highly recommend this keyboard tray to anyone looking to get more real estate on their desktop back.
