Our precious kitty decided that a particular part of the burber carpet should be scratched - down to the paddingAfter trying other ideas, I saw the clear coversI searched carefully - located one that seemed to be correct for our needsThis one was easily trimmed to fit door facing - the prongs keep mat in placeIt looks great - thickness is perfect- I was concerned that it would be too thin. Absolutely not!Our kitty walks right over it with no issues . Doesn't seem to miss the ability to leave carpet spot in shreds.
