The best side cutters I have ever owned. They don't chip or break. Don't cut hing pins or harden steel with them and they will last a lifetime.

These side cutters are the best in the cost seems a little high, but they’re worth every penny. It’s a fair price for the quality of the tool you get matter fact for Christmas I will be buying my son the same set that I have. you won’t have to strain your hands just give you all the leverage you need. Make sure you get the 10 inch.

I'm a Union electrician, and I use and abuse my tools on a daily basis, while also caring for them, as tools are my livelihood. That being said, a decent pair of diagonal cutters alongside the Klein's and needle-nose, are the bread and butter of my career. I am now on my second set only after watching my first set get destroyed after lending them out (never again BTW). I've tried many different pairs of diagonal cutters over the years and the Knipex 10-inch HL's are my absolute favorite. They cut up to #8awg with zero effort, and can get through #1 and 1/0 with minimal strain. Along with that, they cut anything and everything involved in commercial and industrial electrical work all day long.(seismic wire, aircraft cable, tie-wire, SO cord, etc..etc.)Before my first set got buggered up by a live circuit, I was running with them for 4 years, and they worked as well on their last day as the did on the day I bought them. They are well made like most everything Knipex engineers, and are worth every penny. When receiving your new pair of Knipex diagonal cutters, I challenge you to not stare at the beauty of the design for a moment before putting them to good use. They truly are an amazing tool!
