I like the material that this is made from. Titanium is a pretty sturdy material and it really is very small and light to carry when hiking. I have used it twice now and find that when using 91% alcohol as a fuel source it burns approximately 10 minutes per ounce of fuel. There is no way to regulate the flame on this particular design but I haven't ever found that to be a need with burners that are this small. It's pretty handy for a solo camper or hiker...but if you have a group with you ...you'd probably need a bigger stove.

It has one setting: burn baby burn! boils water in the kettle and in the italian expresso maker quickly enough! A little power house this one.

My update on 10/03/2024:After dealing with a message with customer service, I can no longer support this product, the product may partially work for its intended purpose, but the company and customer service are horrible to say the least. You can take it for what it is worth, but you will receive no support from their customer service and that should be noted prior to any purchases you make with them.Let's get this part out of the way; it doesn't come with anyway to put the flame out, but....I am so on the fence about this burner. It is super small, lightweight, perfect for backpacking, will work when you need it as long as you have fuel. When the fuel sets and is in all the right places it is the perfect flame rate and heat. So, my only problem is the size, weight, and fact that because it is super small and lightweight, it will only hold small and lightweight cooking pots or pans, unless you pair it will another device that keeps it from falling over and keeps it stable.Because I have done just that, I really like this burner, but because it only takes one type of fuel that is a drawback for me too. So, as much as I would love to give this thing 5-stars, I have sticking with the 4-star rating for now. I may update this review at a later date, but for now, try it out, it's worth it, it works, it's a solid build and well made.

I live in Michigan and we had a bad ice storm leaving us without power for a week. I bought this for my dad and Thanks to this little thing, we were able to have hot coffee every day!

Great little stove. My only reason for docking a star is the bottom is not completely flat meaning on flat surfaces it wobbles a little bit. I'm not sure if this is a mistake in just mine or if they're all like this. It was minor enough it's not worth exchanging, but it'd have been nicer if the bottom was flat.

This is a very nice little stove. Seems comparable to all the other alcohol stoves. Burns times are the same, anyway. Boils water in a little over 6 mins. indoors. Its perfect for my needs. I would buy again.
