I like the sturdiness of these hooks. There was a problem putting it up on sheet rock because the bigger hole and the smaller hole are so close together that the dry wall didn’t like the holes being that close and started crumbling. One large screw cracked going in. Luckily, there was one extra one to use

I've bought these 2x. I use large screws and go right into studs. Very strong and they look good too.

Well made and did the job for me. I had to drill out the locating holes (and repaint) as my existing "eyes" for chaining up on the wall were of much greater diameter. No real problem.

Just hung these up today. I didn’t need any anchors as I screwed them directly on a stud. Although it states these are to use with a ladder, I have my weedeater on one and two long-handled shovels on the other.

metal is at least as strong as indicated, but the difference is the paint coating is much more durable than others at this price point and the non-slip on the prongs is WAY better than any other amazon or in-store product. I'm hanging a 20 ft fiberglass extension ladder at the top of a 9' ft. ceiling, so gracefulness is in short supply when hanging and removing. Very pleased. However, the hardware, while not cheap, is undersized. I replaced one of 1" screws with 1 5/8" to get more bite into the studs then added a #9 Simpson 1 1/2" panhead for three fasteners total. Rock solid for my purpose. In no way would I use the plastic drywall screws to hold this size of a hanger unless I was using it to hang a plastic pool tube or hula-hoops...

I used these to hang a leaf blower. Put them up in a concrete wall, they are still there.
