This mahogony ukulele is top notch for sustain and sound. I did change strings to Aquila Reds Low G for this Uke, I have other in Re-entrant. I'm very impressed with the classic looks and beautiful tone of this instrument. I recommend!

I bought this Uke as I borrowed one and this is the same. There are so many out there to choose from. I like it, is easy to place for the female hand.

I like the wider nut on this instrument, it’s harder to find. Decent quality and sound for a beginner ukulele.

This is my first ukulele. I found a uke in my Airbnb and didn’t put it down all weekend. I did my research and found the Lanikai MA-S to fit the bill. It’s wonderful for beginners but still is high quality. It sounds amazing.

Just got interested in ukelele, but didn't want to invest a lot of money in a beginning one. I'm very pleased with this little beauty - it has a very nice tone, and looks good. have seen others in the same price range that don't have such a sweet tone. once the strings adjusted, it holds tune quite well - again, better than other models of similar price that i've seen. Plus a wonderful opera singer, Stephanie Blythe, plays a Lanikai
