I have an older car that I'll keep drive it, until it bottoms out. Once a while parts craps out for they do worn out and I don't mind work on them. However, engine check light comes on time to time after I work on the car. I check all the lines and parts; and recheck the code. That's where this device comes very hand to ID the problem and reset as needed.This time, I changed starter on my older car over the wknd. The emission light came on after driving for about 5min. Thought because memory has wiped out while I disconnect the negative. Drove the car more, yet the light remains on. I pulled out the Creader OBD scan, it took about 1min to Dx. Turned out to be faulty knock sensor. I checked at an auto parts store, which confirmed as well. I was able to reset with this device, took about 30sec to reset.I had an older OBD scan, unfortunately it did not have reset/erase the code function. I purchased this in 2022; wish I had it earlier. If you are a DIY person, keep this in your garage or glove box. It does come handy.Pro: Easy to useCon: noneVerdict: ease use OBDII reader and reset-er. Recommended to any DIY'ers.

Does what I needed it to do. Removing car battery didn't reset engine codes. This made it simple. I haven't tested other real-time functions, so I can't comment on that.

Ich muss gestehen dass meine Erwartungshaltung gegenüber dem Gerät für diesen Preis nicht sonderlich hoch war, zumal meine bisherigen Erfahrungen mit Smartphone- und App-gestützten Systemen ... sagen wir mal eher durchwachsen waren! Umso positiver war die Überraschung als ich das kleine, handliche Gerät ausprobiert habe.Natürlich sind bei einem Gerät dieser Preisklasse nur die nötigsten Funktionen vorhanden, allerdings finde ich die Echtzeitmotordaten schon ein enorm hilfreiches Feature, was meines Erachtens nicht selbstverständlich ist.Ebenso ist die Menüführung in Deutsch.Auch dass ich die Daten der Lamdasonde und die Stickoxid-Emissionen vor der Hauptuntersuchung selbst schon mal checken kann empfinde ich als sehr nützlich, denn es erspart vielleicht ungewollte Überraschungen.Entgegen den App-Systemen kann ich mit diesem Gerät viele Funktionen meines Autos abfragen, und im Fall der Fälle vielleicht vermeiden einer Werkstatt allein für das Speicherauslesen oder das Rücksetzen eines Fehlercodes deutlich mehr Geld bezahlen zu müssen, als dieses kleine Gerät überhaupt gekostet hat.Für Kleinigkeiten bei der Selbstdiagnose absolut empfehlenswert.Klar Kaufempfehlung, würde ich wieder kaufen!
