It seems to work well. Easy to pair and no dropouts. The image is good. You will need to supply external power though.

I’ve become interested in recording both video and still images to my computer, and also live streaming. To that end I ordered the Lemorele Wireless Transmitter and Receiver kit. To be clear, I had no experience with a wireless transmission setup, but for some reason I had the impression that the Lemorele kit provided a simple plug and play interface. Well, as it turned out, nothing could be farther from the truth. However, I did get a new learning adventure, and an immediate insight in to just how clueless I was concerning the use of wireless video transmission and what I had gotten myself into. For example, I had no idea that the HDMI port on my laptop is output only and that to input HDMI I would need an HDMI Capture Card. I contacted Lemorele customer service for enlightenment of this conundrum; let me state here that Lemorele customer service, as they assert, is responsive and they set me straight on this point. Further suggesting that I would also need supplementary software. Lemorele suggested OBS (Open Broadcast Software), which is available for free; I downloaded it. And of course, new software itself also implies another learning curve. Fortunately, OBS includes plenty of documentation. To be honest, I enjoy learning, and this adventure in wireless broadcasting was proving to be enlightening in a number of ways. The Lemorele Wireless HDMI Kit is wireless only between the transmitter and the receiver. Connected to each must be an HDMI cable, supplied with the Kit, and a power source; the TX and RX do not incorporate their own on-board power. Also supplied with the Kit are two A/C to D/C wall adapters that allow for interchangeable plug types, also included, to accommodate international travel. Using a wall adapter, of course, requires that you be near a “wall,” something that may not be convenient or available when shooting on location. In the case of the TX, I powered it from the same V-Mount battery I use for the camera; for the RX, I’ve used a power bank or a Sony NP-F970 battery. Both the TX and RX have USB-C inputs for power and the Wireless Kit includes two USB-A to USB-C cables for this purpose. Since I’m on the subject of “what’s included,” beside what I’ve already mentioned, there are the four antennas, in and out IR cables, two HDMI to mini-HDMI adapters, and a 1/4" threaded cold shoe to fit the 1/4” threads on the bottom of either the TX or RX, for attachment to a camera cage or other cold shoe adapter. The TX has, as the seller states, “Loop-Out,” basically an HDMI out port that can be used for a wired connection to a monitor while images or video are being transmitted wirelessly to the RX. On the other hand, the Lemorele Kit can be used exclusively for transmitting to a monitor wirelessly too, if that is the end source. So, now that I have everything hooked up and powered, have done a quick OBS tutorial on YouTube, have the Lemorele TX and RX communicating with each other, shown by flashing yellow lights on each, I add a source, open the drop down of available sources, and none are shown; OBS is not seeing the HDMI capture card, or the transmissions to the Lemorele receiver. For privacies sake, I keep the built-in camera of my laptop disabled. Apparently, doing so disables the computer from seeing any camera. Once I enabled the laptops onboard camera, it then saw all other input sources, including the HDMI capture card. Now when I created a new source in OBS, I was able to select the capture card, with the connected Lemorele receiver, as the input from the drop down of available sources. Now, everything worked; I was receiving sound and images from my Sony A6500 camera with the attached Lemorele transmitter.I tested the Lemorele Kit indoors, with the camera in a home studio and the laptop and receiver in a home office, separated by about 30 ft. and four walls. Lemorele states that the setup has an ultra-low latency of 0.06 seconds and in this scenario, that’s probably accurate; if there was any, it wasn’t noticeable. Also keep in mind I’m using a $25 HDMI capture card, although it also appeared to perform very well. I haven’t tested the kit outside, although given its performance through walls and plenty of potential magnetic interference in an office full of computers, I anticipate it will perform well enough for my needs. I do not at this time foresee a scenario where I am at the limits of its stated range of 656 ft.Based on my needs and applications, while keeping in mind my inexperience in the wireless transmission of video and sound, I found that the Lemorele Wireless HDMI Kit performed up to my expectations and hopes. I understand this has been a relatively long review, but I thought I’d give anyone else who may need it the benefit of my experience; the experience of someone that had no clue what they were getting into and had only YouTube as a source of tutelage.

The product doesn’t come with a battery, not exactly wireless when you have to be connected to a wire. It should say that on the product description
