I use this charger for my Model X, it works better than my Tesla factory portable charger with the ‘Nema 14-50’ outlet connection, I’m getting about 5 to 7 more miles an hour to the charge with this 4Oamp max portable wall charger. Great product that definitely saves you a little more time during overnight or daily home charging, with the Tesla charger I was getting around 27 miles max an hour to the charge now I’m getting 35-38 miles an hour to the charge.

Works well at 24 and 32A. Haven't tested at 40A. Nice long and flexible cable.

I'd been looking for a high speed 240 Volt charger when this one popped up. I already had a 40 amp circuit for a charger and had the right 240 Volt plug to use this charger so it was kind of a number brainer. The charger looks nice and well built and includes a carrying case although I do not anticipate carrying this one around much, it's going to stay pretty much permanently mounted in my garage

We have an outdoor 50 amp NEMA 14-50 receptacle on the driveway side of our house. We use it to charge an EV, which is generally our Tesla, using the Tesla mobile charger. However, at certain times we have an EV with a J1772 connector on it, and we wanted to have an EV charger for that connector that could also be used with a Tesla adapter if necessary. This unit seemed to fit the bill.I like that it has an IP rating suitable for outdoor use, because I’d like to plug it in and then leave it outdoors during rain and snow. I had to adjust the current output using the enclosed instructions, so it now outputs at 40 amps on a 50 amp circuit, the maximum safe value. I wish it had a longer supply cord; it’s only about 18 inches long, which makes it a bit difficult to mount on the outside wall near the receptacle. Also, I wish it had a better mounting system; there’s only a single “keyhole” mount for placing on a screw or nail. But that allows the charger to swing from side to side, and I’d like it to be a bit more stable. Overall, though, it seems well built and good value for the money. Definitely recommended!

I recently got this charger for my Tesla Model 3 because I needed an extra one for traveling, and it’s been awesome! Super convenient and efficient, just like the one Tesla sells.It’s great for charging my EV on the go and handy to have for emergencies. It even comes with a nice carrying bag and two plug options: a 5-15 for Level 1 charging and a 6-20 for Level 2 charging.The build quality feels solid, and the cord is really long—26 feet! That means I don’t have to park right next to an outlet. The cord is thick and sturdy too. Honestly, it’s a great value for the price, and as long as there’s an outlet around, I don’t have to worry about running out of power.
