Love this charger! I’m new to the hybrid electric family and this was just want I needed. I’ve been plugging in my car to a standard outlet for a long time now and was ready for an upgrade. The car charges in about 3 hours and used to take 9. It’s fast and reliable. I love that I can set up the app to only charge in the off peak electricity hours now too to save more money on my electricity bill.

I wanted to get a level 2 charger for my jeep 4xe that was mid range. I decided on this one and have used it for about 2 months now. Works great and charges my jeep in a little over 2 hrs.

]This EV charger is a powerhouse of features. It is loaded with essential features; such as a display that shows the charging data right on the unit, although it can be difficult to read in bright sunlight. This unit also comes with a card reader, so if you install the charger in a location where it is open to the public and people can sneak in and abuse your charger, now you’ve got protection!The charger consumes negligible power (less than 0.5W) when disconnected from the car, making it highly energy efficient.The SmartLife app compatibility (or Tuya, Moes and other home automation platforms) is its standout feature, unlocking endless possibilities for automation and energy management.I live off-grid and rely on solar power to charge my car. When clouds block the sun, my solar production drops, forcing the charger to use battery power. To optimize energy usage, I use the Tuya app and inexpensive devices to monitor solar output and automatically adjust the charging rate accordingly.Additionally, the app can intelligently control my home's heating or cooling based on my car's charging status, assuming I'm home when plugged in.The possibilities for automation are endless. I’ve already set up routines to optimize charging based on solar production and trigger home comfort settings when the car is plugged in.Why the four star rating? There are a few areas for improvement.The charger's design and choice of color is rather dull. Another issue is the card reader system. It could benefit from greater flexibility, allowing users to add or remove cards from the charger as needed.While these points don't overshadow the charger’s strengths, they prevent it from achieving a perfect score..... I am kidding .... This charger deserves 5 full stars. More I am using it, more I enjoying it!!

We had been using a traditional 110v outlet to charge our EV. It would take overnight and even sometimes that would not result in a full charge.Amazon had a great deal and I was excited to get the EVGoer charger. An electrician had prepped our garage by adding a 220v wire to our panel and then hardwired this charger the day we got it. It's amazing!We can charge our EV in a couple hours which helps reduce our use of gas for local trips throughout the day. I love that it connects to the Smart Life app, which I already have for lights. One feature that was a must have when choosing an EV charger was a scheduling option. We can schedule to charge when electricity is cheapest, which is great. The charger looks great, modern, and I also love the small LCD screen that displays various pieces of information, which gives it a high-end touch.If you're thinking of going from 100v to 220v for your charging, don't hesitate. This charger is high end at an excellent price.

I appreciate that this is an affordable 50a charger for home and that it utilizes the smart life app. Works great!

I don't usually write reviews but I wanted to add mine here in case it helps someone in the future. I purchased this and had an electrician come set it up. Unfortunately, while it turned on just fine, we could not pair it with the app, and the Wifi indicator light on the display was flashing rapidly at us.I poured through the instructions -- which are pretty minimal -- and through every online support venue I could find, but I could not find anybody who had this problem. There are a few YouTube videos of folks installing this product, but as far as I could tell, theirs worked just fine without the flashing wifi indicator.Finally, I got in touch with the company itself via email, and they were able to help me: there's an emergency shutoff button on the right of the charger, and if you press it three times it functions something like a factory reset. (I had already flipped the breaker a few times to try power cycling). But doing this reset seemed to reset whatever was wrong with the antenna and I was able to sync it no problem at that point.So. Just in case you end up where I was. Press the emergency power shutoff button three times and you'll reset the machine. Hopefully that works for you.

Was easy to install but very limited on features. The app doesn't work and there's no way to determine a way to get full use of features without it. No phone number is available to call for help with this product. Only email support. Besides these inconveniences it works incredibly well. Our stage 1 charger that came with the vehicle would take 14 hrs to fully charge. While this stage 2 charger took only 1 hrs and 12 mins for a full charge from empty. So we are pleased with that.
