I thought it was a brilliant idea but the idea didn't (for mine) live up to expectations. Personally I don't like it and gave it away.

It slows my cats eating down. They eat so fast when there's just a normal bowl, these mats take it from 30 seconds with bowl to 5 mins to finish their food with the these ''mats. I would recommend

Slows him right down and he just licks away for up to 10 minutes, when a bowl of his food would usually be scoffed down in about 1 minute. Easy to place food into, can be squished down to make it harder (slower) for the cat to eat. Cleans up really well too. Something to note, is that I think the rubber holds some of the smell from the food. So even once washed really well, I have to hide it away in a cupboard, or the cats will try to get at it even with no food in it.
