These look so neat and they are stackable (to a point), but they are exactly what I was looking for.__These file boxes are good quality and they are easy to set up. They are quite sturdy too__I chose the color: DARK BLUE which is close in color to a dark denim IMO__I needed these boxes to hold file folders that I don’t use every day but rather a couple of time a week. Even then, I may or may not need all four of them, so it is really great to be able to just move the ones I need as I need access to them and then to place them back where I have them stored -in a closet. In my case, since I only need a number of files at a time, I’d much rather use these boxes than to have a big ole filing cabinet sticking out like a sore thumb. SMILES__BOTTOM LINE: Very pleased with the look and the functionality of these file boxes and would absolutely choose them again

I like these storage bins to organize important papers or about anything else. I don’t have folders with hangers but I did notice in some reviews that they don’t hang very easily. Not a problem for me since I just want to use it for school supplies. It’s nice they have handles to pull them out or carry them. I like the kids to keep everything closed and looks more presentable in my school area. They are very sturdy and looks like a lot can fit in it. The color is nice I got the darker grey ones.

It says it’s for letter-sized paper, and has that pretty picture of all the hanging folders fitting nicely, but it won’t. I tried two different brands of hanging folders. Buy if you want them for something else, but lower rating for deceptive picture.

My wife and I have our own independent businesses and the paper work, receipts, tax docs, etc., is starting to pile up, so I figure it was time to have separate bins for better organization. I like the size and easy assembly, but it would have been nice to come with folders and a hanger. Other than that, it was as described. I may get more but I'll shop around to see if there is anything with more features.

I was extremely surprised when I unfolded these organizers at how well they are made and also how nice they look. Not sure what I was expecting, but wow these are really luxurious for file holders. They are perfect for holding hanging files for 8 1/2 x 11 paper folders. There is enough room for 4 binders or 20 folders according to the advertised product, but I think you could likely fit a few more folders if you don't cram them full. My only slight disappointment is the plastic piece that goes on each end doesn't like to stay in place, but it is only added support so isn't imperative to have it on. I ordered the light gray (not sure if they come in different colors) and they are covered with a lightweight material which makes them appear to be quality made. These would also work just fine to store documents you have stacked that you want to hide (or make look organized). These boxes are strong enough they will last for many years and the .id is really nice for added protection. I highly recommend these file organizers if you want to make a great impression on clients. Again, they look quite professional and eye-catching.

These are nice, soft sided and collapsible *file* storage boxes that look much better on a shelf than a regular box. As describe they’re soft-sided, collapsible, but only take a minute to restore to their full size. They may be stored flat again when not in use.They make nice storage boxes with covers – which is how I’m using them, because they’re not ready for your files. Most of us use US standard letter size paper, but these boxes are too wide and Pendaflex (or similar) hanging folders (available here on Amazon) will not fit the box correctly. American standard “letter” size paper is 8-1/2” wide and 11” tall, but if you want to store files in these boxes you’ll need to order some metric A4 sized (8.3” x 11.7”) hanging file folders, and it won’t be a great fit (too long, but not wide enough for us paper).All is not lost though; I liked these boxes enough to order four more to use for storage, and have also ordered properly sized boxes that will actually hold US standard hanging file folders. I’m taking one star off as a “File box”, but they’re 5 star for storage on a shelf.

Just in time for organizing for the new year. I really like these file boxes that are fabric covered. They work great your home office, fit well on the desk shelf and look good at the same time. However they are not truly a file box filing size. They still work though. I do prefer the typical cardboard for filing the past year and putting away in storage. These are perfect for everyday filing and hold your documents for the current year. Easy to put together and the fabric covering is nice. They come with plastic rails to attached to the side to hang folders if you like. I actually use them on the opposite side for stability. They work great for my home office and have that classy look.

There aren’t a lot of innovations these days. But, when this arrived I couldn’t help but think, “ Well, THAT was a good idea!” This arrives in an amazingly compact package. Keep it ALL, the “box” that the storage bins come is actually the pair of lids. They arrive collapsed and have a classy cloth covering and metal carrying handles so even heavy weight isn’t going to damage them. After unfolding, the “bottom” is comprised of another cloth covered panel that slips into the newly unfolded bins. Make sure to leave the little black tab poking up so you can easily pull out the bottom again so they can be folded back up. Ask me how I know….well, let’s just say I eventually was able to get the panel out without damaging anything. When done the right way, it is super easy. The lids cover up your file folders. Overall, it is a compact, elegant package. Why do I say not “permanent”? Since it is all cloth, I think that a dedicated sealed plastic storage bin would be better for anything longer term. However, if you need something go move a desk drawer of files from one location to another, bring to a meeting/presentation, or something similar, this is a great solution.
