This chandelier is chic and simple and just what I was looking for in a difficult to style area. I love the sleek lines and the the low profile that casts plenty of light that's the perfect daylight shade of white. It's easy to go too cool for productive spaces or too warm for relaxing spaces and this stradles that line perfectly. I also really like how long the cables are to hang. We have 10' ceilings which means it's not always easy to find long enough hanging fixtures, but this had plenty of slack left over.There are a few minor imperfections. The white cover plate that mounts to the ceiling doesn't lay flush. The instructions say to use countersunk screws but doesn't provide them, so the hardware provided results in this gap. It's not hugely noticable but it did take us a while to get the cover plate to sit where it needed to be to hide the blue drywall receptacle. The wires hanging the light are taking a bit to straighten out as well. This has been hung for a week and there are still wiggles that look a bit sloppy. I'm sure those will stretch out over time, but I was thinking a few days would do it. Because of this slow relaxing of the cables, it looks like what we thought was level while installing might not actually be anymore so we might have to get the ladder back out to fix later.I'm saving the listing in my notes on my phone for whenever the bulb burns out. I have no idea how to replace the bulb or even where to get one, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. We don't use the dining table as often as other lights, so I'm hoping it'll be a while before that becomes an issue.

As I am working on details of my new home office, I wanted to find a very minimalist type of chandelier or lighting set that would provide a broad range of light over the center of this room. I found several options, but I was completely sold on this particular LED chandelier. The simplistic look really caught my eye. Now that I've gotten this home, I will list the reasons I decided in the first place to pick this one.*Design: Very basic and simplistic design. Straight forward- providing amble light without the distraction of an overly artistic light system. This exudes professionalism and is durably made.*Special features: "Flicker Free" lighting- we all know how irritating blinking/flashing lights can be on our eyes, they designed this to be gentler and not so harsh on the persons eyes.*Dimmable*Adjustable- pick the exact height you want your chandelier to hang. love the flexibility of this.*Options: you can choose between direct light or indirect light - excellent feature* LED lights used which last an incredibly long time- estimated around 50,000 hours*Assembly: took some time but not too bad overall. Instructions were very helpful.*Dimensions for your reference: 48"L x 48"W x 60"H with a weight of 7 lbs*Environment: Indoor use only*Mounting type: ceilingOverall, I find that this chandelier was built with precision and great thought. The chandelier provides an abundance of light - and I love the fact I can adjust the lighting so simply. This is definitely an "investment" piece that with proper care should last a very long time. It is very professional looking and not over the top. With the anodized aluminum build, this is a very sturdy and durable chandelier. I couldn't be happier. I did NOT find any sort of defect in the appearance or function of this chandelier. I'm more than satisfied with the outcome. Therefore, based on these factors, I would absolutely recommend this chandelier. It does not only go in an office or retail space, this can be used in the home over a kitchen Island for instance. This linear pendant light from Lorbits is a great addition to our kitchen island (attached extension). The light was safely packed with plenty of foam to protect it during its travels to us in Hawaii. The included instructions and hardware made it easy to install. It took about an hour and a couple of additional holes being drilled in the base to accomplish the installation. Our kitchen has cathedral ceilings, so it worked out perfect that I was able to adjust one end of the hanging light to hang down at a short length and the other end to hang down to its maximum length in order to keep it level. In the end it looks great. The lighting amount is perfect... considering we had no light there before. The light fixture is just right for our kitchen configuration and is very easy on the eyes. It's nice that this fixture has dimmable capabilities; however, I do not have it connected to a dimmable light switch yet in order to test it out.The only negative that I must comment about is the very skinny fixture base design that requires a round plastic base plate cover (included) to be installed over the galvanized mounting plate that is attached to your electrical box. This round plastic cover plate is just to hide the electrical box underneath... If you don't look all the way up to the ceiling to see the fixtures mounting base, then you probably won't even notice it... but I installed it, and therefore I really notice it...Oh yeah, and then there is the price, I feel it looks like an expensive light, but I think it is way overpriced.

Item appeared to be well made and well packaged, but was not compatible with my Lutron Maestro CL (led) dimmer. LED/dimmer compatibility can be tricky, and this was difficult to check in advance since this light is not from a mainstream manufacturer. The product listing seems to imply that it will work with any dimmer, which is misleading. When I installed the light, it would only function on the highest dimmer setting - when I tried to dim the light, it would flicker and turn off. Am returning for credit.
