Mine came without any rust. A bit greasy on the gauges, maybe that's some kind of protection from rust? Used this to level a 3D printer bed and got wonderful results in one go. I am not going to use A4 paper for that again.

This is a must have for any one that is preforming their own setups on guitars. I originally bought this to build a project guitar and it worked great. Since then I have used it for setups on my guitars.
