This pole saw is very easy to assemble and use, and I am pleased with the quality of the unit. Pay attention to the assembly instructions, particularly Step 7, where you insert the tension adjuster pin into the guide bar. This is a critical step, and if not performed properly could result in the chain detaching from the bar. However, once properly assembled the unit is lightweight and easy to use.

It did get some of my trimming done, but the battery died within 2 months. Fortunately, I have a compatible battery, otherwise, this chainsaw would be useless.It gets pretty heavy when extended to its full length, especially when I'm carrying it up a ladder to work at height.

Saw worked fine for a few cuts then the chain came off. I reinstalled the chain but it came off again. Tried a few more times and noticed the chain tension knob did not adjust the chain. I took off the chain cover plate and noticed the pin that moves the blade was broken. I would not purchase again

Low RPM means slow cutting and easy stalling even on a 1 inch branch. Chain not very sharp so combined with low rpm I reach for my loppers if I can reach the branch. Filled with bar and chain oil and went to work after 10 minutes I checked and no oil on the chain. Left it on my garage floor at night and the oil tank drained onto my garage floor. The battery is half the size and half the power of all the other inexpensive import tools I have from other manufacturers.

first of all i liked and it worked ok.now i damanged one piece of the pole my fault.I contacted them to see if i could purchase the damaged part and all they had to say was it wasnt covered under warranty..i never once ask for warranty crap..cant get replacement parts for this tool...pretty darm poor company..oh yes then they offer a 10% disc. Poor poor custumer service...dont buy from this company,they dont care about custumers,

I'm a Milwaukee guy but didn't want to drop $250.00 on the Milwaukee pole saw. This one had good reviews so, what the heck? Have used 6X so far, plenty of power and good reach. Aldo used to cut up the 4"-6" limbs I dropped. Much more convenient than busting out the gas powered chain saw. I like it!

Satisfait en général pour cette scie qui a beaucoup de possibilité.Coté positif; facile à manipuler. perche extensible importante et adéquate pour les coupures en hauteur.Très peu bruyante et le fait que l`on peut ajuster la tête apporte une certaine flexibilité.Coté négatif: instructions en francais absentes. batterie efficace pour petit travaux mais trop faible, donc une batterie supplémentaire est nécessaire. La puissance de la scie 20v performe bien pour les coupures de 4 po. ou moins. Dans les situations de branches plus grosses la scie s`accroche et pose problème pour son dégagement.Malgré tout, je recommande cet outil pour des travaux raisonnables et adaptés à la capacité de l`appareil. Merci

I live in an orchard and I've periodically bought cordless yard tools to see how the tech has improved over the years and this is the first time I've been impressed with anything.The build quality is decent - everything fits together and the blade adjust mechanism is fantastic but seems like it could easily wear out over time. The plastic and aluminum are pretty well designed with no idiot engineering mistakes that would make me nervous taking it up a ladder. The bottle cap for the bar lube isn't a great fit and leaks a tiny bit, and the retainer for the cap resists tightening, even loosening the cap with the vibration of use. I cut that tether after some time and would recommend doing so to anyone using it, just make sure you attach it to a string or a length of ball chain like I did in case it pops off.I got the 20v model and if you don't know what you're doing, it'll bog down from getting pinched or at awkward angles. The battery lasts enough for those "I'll just take that tree up real quick" moments but it's not for a whole day of pruning. DEFINITELY get yourself a spare 4 AH battery so you can swap if you're doing a half day of work.With the stock blade and minimal fuss, I've gone through 6-8 inch rounds of walnut, oak, and found just about the limit with a 10 inch trunk off a Russian Olive (Elaeaganus angustifolia) which went in 2 cuts.The head pivot is awesome as you can straighten it to make a back cut on a horizontal branch and then angle it to just rest it on the limb. Forward cuts are dangerous with any chainsaw so avoid em like the plague.This thing is perfect for those tasks that fall somewhere between a set of pruners and a 3 horsepower chainsaw, and it's SO quiet compared to any other electric saws I've tried. I've given it a few months of use and that's more than what I was expecting at this price. Can't wait to try the 40v!

It took awhile to put the chain on but once it's on the blade , it's tight. Don't forget to charge the battery overnight. Love the extension bar.

I’ve had this for 2 years now. It’s held up great! Very powerful, easy to use and no tools needed to adjust chain. You won’t be disappointed in this tool!! I’ve cut tons of limbs with this saw!

I like assembly, the saw is great as new. But I didn't like the weight. I know you are not supposed to stand on ladder and saw, but my trees are very high. The weight makes it unwieldy. Women beware! All in all, very nice tool, I am pleased with it.

I love this saw. It extends far enough to cut branches up really high. The saw is powerful, easy to assemble. It’s a little heavy but it’s a great arm workout.

The quality isn't great, but not bad. The battery life is pretty poor, so you really need to buy a second battery, fortunately there are replacements available. The saw also runs pretty slowly, so you need to be patient. It does work fairly well, but slow and with short battery life. The chain comes off on occasion, but it can be put back on without tools, so that's rather nice. The length of the extension isn't that great, I haven't measured it, but appears to be about 10 feet, so when held by a person of average height you can reach to about 15 feet. That's acceptable, but an extra 5 feet would certainly be helpful. Overall a middle of the road product, it does do the job I bought it for, but the slow speed and poor battery life make you want to use it as little as possible.
