Wasn’t sure on this application but it’s working out perfect on my mashtun . I have it mounted inside with 1/2 npt adapter as a return-recirc so I don’t channel during the mash, also sparging nicely

Great product!! I use it for recirculating mash while home brewing. Sturdy, holds up well, and performs fantastic. Love loc line.

Very nice quality. I use it for a recirculating ring for by brewing setup. No clogging or any problems and it works great. Couple it with the coolant hose assembly kit. I did not require the Loc-Line assembly pliers. I found that if you put one section in the freezer for an hour or so and really squeeze the crap out of the connector you can get it to lock in without too much trouble.

I use this for my all-grain brewing to recirculate my mash tun and for fly sparging. They are rigid enough where I do not need to worry about accidentially changing the position while stirring and holes big enough where they do not plug.

I used two of these and a loc line coolant hose kit for a HERMS recirculation arm in my kettle. Looks and works great. If you have weak or injured hands you may want to consider buying the assembly tool as it takes lots of force to make connections.
