Easy to install. Looks great and works great. Adjustable angle for couples of different heights. Available in bright brass which is becoming harder to find.

Our 22 year old Polished Brass shower head finely wore out. Finding one in that finish and had the same strong spray and pulsing action was difficult, until we tried the ShowerMaxx.My wife is a foot shorter than me, so we have the sliding bar mount. Since most shower accessories have a universal thread & hose size, I just disconnected the existing hose and installed on the new head.As you can see, the mount and polished brass color match perfectly.

A perfect shower head. No need to remove the flow restrictor to get the flow you want in the spray. It's easy to go between settings and get a vigorous massage or a nice shower. The hose on it is a slinky metal and behaves itself -- unlike the hoses on most units which are stiff and seem to have a mind of their own. Also, the hose is 5-1/2 feet long but extends further, adding another 6 inches. Very beneficial if you have to sit while you shower. The unit was easy and fast (maybe 5 min) to install -- and even came with Teflon tape. This is my second ShowerMaxx. I was so impressed with the first one that I bought this one for the other bathroom! Update: I just bought another one! Thought the hose was too short for a 5 ft shower with handicapped bench at the rear. Turns out I was wrong. But when I contacted Customer Service, they responded same day (on a Sunday) and gave me 2 Amazon options for a longer hose if I needed it. Talk about Customer Service. It doesn't come any better than that!Updated Review: In March 2019, I purchased a new ShowerMaxx. Put it in service several months later, and had a catastrophic failure of the hose in early Nov. So I purchased another ShowerMaxx wand. QualityNLuxury Products sent a follow up email. I responded telling them why I'd had to buy the latest wand. Again the response was instantaneous. With in 15 min of my email, they apologized for the defect and promised to send me a replacement hose. My email exchange was on Sat -- and the replacement hose arrived the following Monday at 1pm. Now THAT'S customer service!! Love this company and love this product. I've purchased 5 of these wands thus far -- love them! The hose failure was my first negative experience. And QualityNLuxury Products turned it into a positive!Updated review 16 July 2020. QualityNLuxury Products is an awesome vendor. They stand behind their products. I had a leaky hose on the unit I purchased last November and contacted them to see about purchasing a replacement hose. (I didn't need anything but the hose.) They asked me to send them a photo showing where the hose was leaking -- which I did. They responded by sending me a replacement hose -- at NO COST. I couldn't believe it. Who stands behind their products like that? Well, QualityNLuxury Products definitely does. Kudos and another 5 stars for customer service that's above and beyond! August 2021 update - Had another spontaneous hose aneurysm which prompted the purchase of the latest Shower MAXX. While I like the product, the hose doesn't last if you're someone who sits to shower and turns the hose off periodically during showering. That person is my husband. And he's no longer a fan.

Most importantly, I end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items? Just let me know!Tale of two different shower heads that I must tell. The first ShowerMaxx head showed up. Came packaged well and the instructions seem clear enough but could be confusing for someone not used to doing a little bit of their own plumbing. I did find that the flow restrictor and rubber washer instruction seemed to be backwards, although I didn't go back and verify it. This isn't a huge deal as it's relatively obvious what needs to occur. I also seemed to be missing a rubber washer although that may have been something that dropped out of the box if it was loose, It isn't as durable or as heavy as I was hoping so I was a bit concerned. The light weight material did cause problems for me. It does come with a small supply of teflon tape but I use my own. The first attempt at installing was an exercise in frustration. I'm not sure if it was a defect in the the shower mount (part that holds the wand) portion or if I simply applied too much torque but at first install, the shower mount section leaked badly and sprayed water. I tried tightening it and the threads of the mount stripped very quickly and was rendered immediately useless, leaking just as badly without the option for further tightening.A bit frustrated, I contacted the company. Their customer service was excellent which was/is a pleasant surprise. Must be a small company but they immediately apologized for the issue and while I was only asking for a new shower mount portion, after a couple of days and entirely new wand assembly showed up Same instructions but this time both rubber washers were in the bag and secured. Using my own plumbers tape and ensured a good clockwise winding for a good seal and carefully attached the shower assembly, tightening slowly to ensure I didn't strip the threads again. This time, the install went perfectly, took no more than 5 minutes and zero leakage.I wouldn't consider this a high end unit but my daughter loves it and it's relatively inexpensive, light weight and the settings work well. Best of all, the customer service took what would have been a two star rating, and made it a four. Nice to receive timely answers and support.As far as ordering this product again, I would probably for an inexpensive addition but not for an upscale bathroom. It's perfect for a guest bathroom in my opinion. Finish is good and the hose is a good length. It is lighter weight. As a bonus, my wife now uses it to give the dog a bath and he loves it.
