Defiantly a useable gauge. We are using it for a thread that has a slot cut into it, so its a very loose tolerance. As long as the parts being checked with it are not used for aerospace or military I would recommend.If you do make Aerospace or Military parts and buy this gauge I would have it sent out to be certified before using it.
