I kinda expected this going into it that quality was gonna be hit or miss with a $25 machinist square set and I was right. Received the first set and all 4 of them were not square. Sent them back. Got the 2nd set, those too were NOT SQUARE. Just sent those back too.If you need a square that’s Kinda Square. Well this is your product. If you need something with a little more precision. Search elsewhere.

Each are in their own bag, wrapped on oil paper, inside their own case, inside of a storage bag. Straight and square. Great for layout work.

I'm a hobbyist with a small shop and not as much time as I would like spent in it. I like small, inexpensive squares that I can keep handy and not fear using them during plasma cutter operations, or welding. They will never see the inside of the cases they came with again. The smallest is super handy for transferring marks around corners. I keep some very nice instruments for calibration and when .002 makes a difference. If they are off, then they are all off the same. Considering the largest is 6", I wouldn't go to that for serious measurements. Very happy with the price that they will serve my needs.

This Machinist Square Set 2, 3, 4 and 6 Squares is absolutely fantastic. Each square came in a separate case. Each square is nicely finished with no blemishes. They are perfectly square. I am sure I will find many uses for this excellent product.Note, for those who have purchased these squares and complain that they are not square. Send them back and ask for a replacement or a refund. You shouldn't keep a square that is not square.
