Other valves have orings for seal, this one doesn't. need Teflon tape for seal. Works but others with orings are better.

The valves are high quality, and open and close smoothly. I installed one valve with pipe sealant and allowed it to dry for 45 minutes. No leaks were detected, even after checking it over the next 2 days. The price for this set is unbeatable; I have 4 spare valves should one go bad.

I trust these valves. They give me reasonably precise flow control and the coupling is secure.

A great invention a must for water lines if ever have to take apart. I find also wet the hose with a little water water when installing and push all the way in till you feel it stop abruptly, along with no scratches nicks on your plastic water hose as well. Cut the hose straight as possible. To remove if you have clips remove them first, use a wooden clothes pin . Place pin over plastic pipe push in and pul off . Don’t use screws drivers or metal as they could scratch the plastic.

Any check valve I've ever used can pass air through the valve in the direction of flow. I've not been able to do that with these. Are they somehow only operable when water is flowing through? I don't want to cut my tubing yet if these are defective. And as im accustomed to, not one Q and A to help answer my inquiry, lol

the connections sealed well as did the valve action. no problems after a week. ( I find that most leaks happen within the first 48 hours.)

Was compatible with my 1/4” misting system and about 1/2 the price. Didn’t leak and seems to be holding up.

Didn't use all of them but the ones I did use didn't leak. They worked great on my ro/di system.
