I was looking for a good quality monopod for wildlife photos when traveling. At 6'4" i was also looking for one long enough that i didn't have to hunch over like my cheap 60"one. I ordered the combo C777L with the B20 ballhead. I am impressed by the quality and stability even when fully extended to the 6 foot length. Even the last segment is thick. I usually don't have to fully extend it so it is even more stable. It looks like they may have changed the carrying case. The monopod with the B20 ballhead fits in the carrying bag that was supplied with the monopod. It is a snug fit, but the rop closed. It is also much heavier than I expected. With the ballhead attached it weighs in at 990g or 2 lbs 3 ounces. A big jump in weight from the 223g of my cheap monopod (without ballhead). I think the extra weight is a tradeoff I am willing to make for the increase in function, but then I also think about packing for flights.I would definitely recommend if you are just looking for a local travel monopod. For travel by plane may be an issue if you are tight on weight.

You're not going to find a better deal for a carbon fiber monopod. I'm 6'3 and have to lower it a little with camera and zoom. Joints feel solid and overall very Happ witj this purchase.

I am not exaggerating, but I don't think there is another monopod in the retail market for that's better than this Manbily C-777L at its price or even double its price! There are other Carbon Fiber monopods around the price of this, but aren't quite the same quality. Here are the things that I think make this Manbily better:1. It is a thicker tube from top (listed as 36mm) to bottom. I can feel it holding the monopod. The thicker tube feels solid.2. The handle material isn't the usual "meh" foam material. It is a hard rubber (silicone?) that combined with the thicker tube makes it feel even more solid.3. The quarter turn segment locks work well. No give, no shake. Beats the thumb lever locks that many other monopods at this price range use.4. The ability to reverse the top screw to get 1/4" or a 3/8" mount option is great compared to those monopods that don't offer that option. The package comes with a carry bag, a phone mount, a spike for the bottom (as an alternative for the rubberized bottom, and a walking handle that can be screwed on at the top in two different orientations. The walking handle is a nifty idea for those who use a walking stick when hiking, for example, and swap out the handle for a camera to take pictures/video. But I'm not that kind. I just strap the monopod to a backpack and use when needed. I could do without the walking handle, but to each is their own. If you want to use it as a walking stick, then this is a pretty good solution.I also don't really need the cell phone mount. I rarely ever use the monopod for cell phone shooting because phones are light and I can take reasonably steady footages just holding in my hand. For me, the monopod is more useful for my mirrorless cameras with lenses that are much heavier than a cell phone.I'd have preferred that the package came with a sturdy little tripod for the bottom than the walking handle and phone mount. But that's not the manufacturer's fault. They absolutely delivered what they said they would at a very good quality and price. But my recommendation to Manbily is to offer a package with the monopod, nice sturdy tripod feet perhaps with a ball head. I think that would be great for people who want to use it just for photography/videography with a mirrorless/DSLR.Overall, I'd say this is monopod package is a great choice for anyone who wants a carbon fiber monopod and an even more exceptional choice for those who want to also use it as a walking stick.

The Manbily "monopod" came in the simplest possible packaging. On offer includes the monopod itself, a phone clip, carry bag, trekking handle, spike (I suggest you use this when hiking only), and instructions. This stick, for that is really what it is, doubles nicely as a walking stick or cane; a monopod as described for a camera, and so on. It does well at this and is thoughtfully designed. It can be retraced; extended; has a variety of fittings and shapes, and appears to be very, very tough. At the price point on offer, though, this fancy walking stick and camera holder is very expensive. A 20% coupon is on as I look right now, so if you are enamored of this item, now is the time!An STG Synergies BTN Vines Review!

I really like the build quality. It's very compact. I put a ball head with a quick release plate on it. It's still very light even with the head attached. I like that I can leave my camera attached and still use it as a walking stick. It really helps steady my shots in lower situations. I bought a second one for my wife to use.
