Needed a 'shore power' adapter for my boat when in storage. This did the job.

I was looking for a quality weather resistant adapter and on top of it it’s an easy connect and disconnect. Highly recommend

Use this for my boat when it's parked at home. The power light is nice to have you can just look at it and see that it electricity to it. Had an old one but it got hot after I added another battery to the boat. This one is very heavy duty.

The new Marinco EEL series is amazing. I love the new locking design! This is even quicker and easier than their twist lock plug and lock ring. The EEL uses the same Hubble 30A twist lock receptacle but with a "squeeze and turn" lock ring that thus far seems to be quite weather proof. Then there is a "safety lock" that keeps the squeeze locking wings from being opened. The power "on" indicator light is a nice feature to let you know the pigtail is receiving power. The "flash light" in the center of the Hubble receptacle is a big gimmicky but doesn't bother me otherwise. This particular device is a 12" pigtail. It's designed to be used in conjunction with a heavy duty outdoor extension cord to feed a 30A powered RV or boat with AC power from a household outlet. This will let you run the camper's onboard battery charger, refrigerator, and other low wattage items while stored or in preparation for a trip. The male plug is a 15A standard plug which is VERY TIGHT and is meant to be. They don't want this falling out while plugged in. Plugging this into an extension cord requires backing off the tensioning screw on the top of the male plug. Firmly insert the plug into the female end of the extension cord. Tighten the tensioning screw (but not the point where it begins to push the cord apart or starts to thread into extension cord.So why buy this? It isn't that much cheaper than the real 30A locking cords... Three reasons... 1) Unfortunately society has degraded to the extent that we have to worry about scrappers taking our cords to sell to recycling centers for pennies on the dollar. Even if you loose this and your cord. You still have you main cord for trips so your next vacation isn't ruined. 2) The ends of a 30A cord with a 30-15A adaptor tend to be large and bulky and often are too big to fit into outdoor weather proof outlet housings. Lastly) given that this is a pigtail, you can tailor the length of 15A extension cord to your needs. 15' or 100' are equally doable. Just make sure to use a heavy gauge cord (especially for long runs.)
