I bought this to plug a hole in my boat that was 3/8 inch diameter. I was expecting when I clamped down on it that it would expand the plug to hold it in place. However, it did not come close to filling the hole and so I’m not able to use it.

Long story short, the plastic plugs that came pelican boat would not stay locked. I tried a replacement from Pelican directly that had the same issue. These brass plugs are 500x better quality and stay locked down!I'm so happy I'm buying extra to have on hand
