Such a good matcha! This is probably my favorite I've gotten so far. It has a good color and consistency. It dosnt leave clumps like some others.

I am just getting started with matcha. This one is light, easy instructions, and so so delicious and creamy. Was so fortunate to find it on Amazon.

his Marukyu Koyamaen Premium Ceremonial Grade Matcha is truly outstanding! The color is a beautiful, vibrant green, and the texture is incredibly fine, making it easy to whisk into a smooth, frothy tea. The flavor is rich, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced with umami notes—no bitterness at all. You can really tell it's high quality from the first sip. Whether enjoyed traditionally or in lattes, this matcha is worth every penny. Highly recommend for matcha lovers!

This is my first time trying this brand of matcha and now I definitely see why it’s so popular. With the right water , matcha, and milk ratio you can taste all the flavor profiles with the sweet and nutty aftertaste of the matcha.In order to use this matcha correctly and end up with a bright green latte I use these measurements, since I don’t have a food scale: 3 tsp of matcha powder, 1/4 warm water, add about 6 ice cubes to a glass and fill the glass a little more than half way of milk of choice.My (in depth) Matcha Latte recipe:- use a sifter to sift 3 tablespoons of matcha in a small bowl- grab a 1/4 cup measuring cup and fill half of it with boiling water and the other half with room temperature water. Water needs to be WARM not boiling so that it doesn’t mess up the color/ taste of the latte.- pour water in the bowl with the matcha powder and whisk with bamboo whisk in a M motion until frothy- add sweetener of choice / i use “agave in the raw” syrup just a splash! and whisk again in M motion until fully combined- grab a small glass of choice, add ice cubes (about 6), and fill a little more than halfway with milk of choice! i recommend oat or regular milk with this specific matcha powder!- then pour the matcha mixture over the ice and milk in the glass!- once mixed should be beautifully bright green!I use this ratio for my matcha and always end up satisfied with my latte, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, but this works for me!This matcha is pricey, but when made in an iced latte for the morning, it ends up being so worth it! 💚

The Marukyu Koyamaen Premium Ceremonial Grade Matcha has a lovely sweetness and smooth flavor that’s enjoyable to drink. It’s clear this is a high-quality matcha with a well-balanced taste that works well for traditional preparation or lattes. However, I did notice a slightly chalky texture, which was a bit unexpected

It doesn't taste bitter or weird. Not too sweet which is good.Have very little bit fishy flavor..The umami flavor and other textures are so low..It doesn't have the nice ceremonial grade quality for sure.I wont buy this grade again. I will buy premium "Kinrin" version of this brand.currently amazon is not selling that grade. only on sazentea websiteWill be great for lattes and cooking and straight drinking if you don't want matcha flavorsBut better than Costco cheap bitter culinary grade matcha..
