The SN883RH3 features our patented maintenance free end cap filter, weighs only 7lbs, has a comfortable rubber grip, reduced recoil engineering system, and is ony 11 7/8" Tall allowing for straight nailing between studs. The SN883RH3 now includes a rafter hook, as well as a swivel Plug. There is also a magnet in the nose that ensures the last fastener is shot straight and true.

A fine tool. Doesnt seem to like pressure on the lower end, one may have to adjust their comp to kik in earlier. Vastly more refined and user friendly than the htachi.

Fantastic deal at $165 with other retailers at $265+! More options standard vs the equivalent price range. Nails at 21 degree economically found, light/quieter than 108 db rating (more like 70-80 db), magazines loading a breeze, 70-120psi rated, framer hook beefy and well made, weight very light even fully loaded, and made in thailand not china!Still have my original 1987 japanese coil roofing nailer (got used) and i find the build quality similar. Gun w 2 triggers included for sequence firing or rapid- directions good.//Only cons i see- only plastic on gun found the depth control knob and knob holder. Vent blower stationary top vent only, and only drives max 3.25” nails vs 3.5” framers of similar comps.At this price/ 5 year warranty/ and japanese performance- just get it. Remember to oil prior to first use (2-3 drops in handle connector) and 1-2 drops prior every use and every 500 nails if doing all day and it will last forever. Good luck!

I’ve had just about every framing gun on the market in my hand at some point, and this is my favorite. It’s short enough to fit in 14.5” bays... and that turns out to be a great feature. My Hitachi is way taller. Great bumpfire. /u s Great handling (so skinny!), balance (so comfy!), weight (so light!), longevity (so long!). My only complaint is that I can’t own one of the original made in Japan units. Sigh.

Ordered this for my dad & HE LOVES THIS THING. He’s had his fair share of nail guns and this one is perfect. There’s a clip on the side that makes a worlds difference when you’re on a 10 ft ladder and need to sit it somewhere
