Here in Florida we are required to add strapping often. This nailer performs well. Has a bit of a kickback but performs consistently and is dependable. No jams yet but will misfire occasionally requiring more than one trigger pull to shoot a nail. It was recommended to me by someone who has used it for yrs so I purchased this one a few weeks ago.

This gun makes driving nails into wood framing metal connectors a breeze.The only reason that I rated the ease of use as a 4 instead of a 5 is because the capacity of the gun is only one rack of nails. While I think this is fairly common among these gun types, due to the diameter of the nails themselves, and possibly the angle of the nail compilation, and not really a function of the gun itself, I find myself running out of "ammo" at the most inopportune times and I have to reload the gun.That said, the gun worked flawlessly and never misfired. So, it really does rate a 5 in "easy to use."

There is a learning curve for this nailer, depressing the safety is not required, just line up the nail which is extended, and fire. When you get down to the end of a clip of nails, it can misfire, so add a new clip.This is at least 5x as fast as nailing by hand, and much safer. I just finished a deck job with over 60 joist hangers, and I a pretty sure it just paid for itself.

So nice to use when installing hangers, i also have another brand but this one is my favorite !! Worth the money trust me !!
