Where should I start? I suppose, right at the beginning when I was super excited about a leaf blower they were selling back in late August. I reveived it as a product reviewer and was in awe of how great it was and it was. I could do my over 100 yd driveway and parking area twice before I needed to charge the batteries and it was powefull. Plus it was very comfortable to use. Sometime in January, we had a couple inches of light snow that I decided to try to blow the snow off our cars so I pulled it out of the garage, put the batteries in and, nothing. It wouldn't start. I've finally been able to contact the seller and found out that the tiller was not one of their manufactured products, so don't expect that batteries you have from other Maxlander products are not compatible with the tiller.Neither the blower or the tiller are on their store page or on their web page. Also, the support page on their web site and email address are not working, the reason I got no response back in January. Hopefully, my email exchange will produce changes both in Amazon and their web site. I was told that an installation video will be added to this ad, and hopefully, the difficulty I had putting the tines on the drive rod was a one off, specific the the machine I received. I'm leaving the description of the issues I had during installation for anyone that might have the same difficulties. So along came this tiller from them so I decided to see if this would work with its two year warranty, plus I already had two useless batteries and a dual charger so why not? It arrived today and I proceeded to set it up. I opened the box and not a bit of instructions on assembly. Now I've assembled a lot of equipment so it really wasn't much of a challenge to firure out how it was supposed to be put together so ahead I charged. All went fine until it came time to install the tines. The inside tines were held in place by pushing a rod thru them and a hole on the rod the motor drove and putting on a cotter pin once thru. The first issue was that the pin didn't want to go all the way thru. The machining was just a slight bit off, no matter how you wiggled it. I needed a short bar and a hammer for it to finally get to the other side. It took a pretty good bang on the bolt to finally clear. Then the hole in bolt was at an angle that the cotter pin couldn't be put in. I was turning it with a plyers but it was taking to long but I turned it enough to get a narrow and strong phillips head into the hole and turn it so the pin went in.The second was also not properly aligned but it only took a couple light taps to get that one on. So now it was just a matter of putting on the outside tines where there were no cotter pins to deal with, just a rod with a circular ring on one end. They went on fairly easily but there were no instructions on how to keep the pin in place when you were tilling. The circular ring wouldn't slide over the housing until you got the bolt far enough thru the housing and once you got the bolt in far enough, you couldn't slide the ring over the bold. I, at this point, wanted to just get done with it and see how it would operate so I pinched the ring with plyers and made it slightly oblong, then once I got the pin thru, squeezed it enough that it couldn't come off.Now is when I found the battery used on this tiller is different than the battery that was used on the blower so I still have two useless batteries from a blower I used maybe a doxen times.I chose to do this review without ever trying it out because I wanted anyone thinking of ordering one to understand there might be issues. I was able to contact Amazon and after going thru 4 support people, was given a link that got me to Maxlander, who has been very helpful so far. Once I actuallu use it, I'll be back.

This tiller was easy to assemble, but I was surprised to find that it didn’t come with actual assembly instructions! The instruction booklet includes warnings and general information but no step-by-step guide. Thankfully, the image on the box helped me figure it out, but it would have been nice to have clear directions. Because of this, I took away one star. That said, once assembled, it worked exceptionally well! I tested it out in a garden bed, and it tilled the soil easily with no struggle. As expected, some roots and vines wrapped around the blades, but they were simple to remove and didn’t affect performance.I’m excited to test it out more extensively at the start of the gardening season and will update my review if I run into any issues. So far, it seems like a solid, easy-to-use cordless tiller, and I’m looking forward to putting it to work!
