About It
There is a proper arc between the drum head and the metal rings so that the drum head can lie on the drum shell tightly, and the drum head has a stable pulling force. If the metal ring of the drum head is not flat, it will cause the overall inclination of the drum head after installation. Even a small gap will affect the sound of the drum.

I guess I didn't expect a whole lot for the price, but I certainly didn't expect the drum heads to so cheap and flimsy that they would collapse after one or two drum beats. In fact, the drum head head material wasn't applied well, so there are depressions around the outer ring that won't pop out. It's like they say, you get what you pay for. I guess I'll use the second one to autograph and sell it.UPDATE: The seller contacted me about my concerns and refunded the entire amount of my spend without having to return the items. Great customer service! It is clear that they recognize the concerns of their customers, which is the most important thing for me when purchasing items for a company.

I'm making octoban-style drums and these heads were perfect. They appear to be single-ply and on the thicker side so I expect them to last a bit. I'm mostly experimenting with the sounds I can get from these heads and I'm satisfied with them.
