I bought this to use in my RV, to save propane. So far, it really surprised me. I've cooked eggs, pasta. rice. chili...so many kinds of food. It heats up well and it's been an even heat distribution. Water boils quickly. Since I only cook for one, I don't know how this would hold up for a larger family, but for me? It's perfect.Cleaning it is also fast and simple. A damp cloth is enough to clear away anything once the plates cool off.

This double burner is oerfect for my camper. 2 different size burnes.separate control knobs. Heats up quickly. Stainless steel top looks expensive. Easy to clean.Very happy with purchase

Bought this hot plate for my elderly mother to replace her older one that had gone out. Have been using it daily for several months now and am extremely pleased with it’s performance.It heats quickly and cooks a bit hotter than the old one, but once you get accustomed to it’s particular heat range and burner cooling time it’s a breeze to cook on.If all you need is good hot plate for preparing small meals or don’t have room for a full sized range, this one fits the bill.It is also nice looking with a stainless finish that fits well in any kitchen and is easy to clean, as well.The only minus at all is that the heat setting numbers rubbed off the dials after a few weeks of use, but this is an extremely minor inconvenience in the big picture and has not hindered my use of the product .I would definitely recommend this product.

We moved from a place with a gas stove to a place with only electric appliances. We bought this product in order to have extra burners. It was hard for to adapt to an electric stove since I can't see the flame, but I find these burners to be very simple to adjust and control. Simmering is pretty simple once you learn the level of heat that corresponds to the control knobs. Water boils fairly quickly, and it seems like these burners adjust even faster than our regular stove to a reduction in heat. Easy to clean, looks nice, works.

It doesn't really heat up like a burner should in my opinion.It can take 45 minutes to boil enough water for spaghetti for one person.But it's light, inexpensive. easy to use it will eventually get the job done.
