If all you need is a couple of preamps with 48V phantom power, then this should work for you, However, the design is a bit strange--it seems to be designed for someone who reads left-to-right, while conventional design for audio equipment is right-to-left. Also, although the controls work in the normal direction (clockwise for higher, counter-clockwise for lower), the markings are upside down relative to standard markings, which is a bit confusing. Although there are four inputs, it seems that there are actually only two preamps, each shared be two inputs. I'm not able to judge the quality of the preamps, but I can say that they work as advertised. There is no EQ.For the same amount of money or less you can buy an audio mixer with 4-6 preamps, 3-band EQ, and effects such as reverb.

This is way overpriced for what you get but if you don't have anything to begin with it's not bad as a starter for a kid learning audio work or practicing performing etc. Sound isn't that great so skip if you're looking for professional grade. B+ should be more like 40 bucks and some confusing design
