I bought the MidAmerica Black 3" Shutter Lok Peg Fasteners for my outdoor shutters, and they’ve been amazing! The pack of 48 is plenty for a full installation, and the fasteners are longer and sturdier than others I’ve tried, making them ideal for securing shutters to my vinyl siding. They were very easy to install, and once in place, they stay put—no wiggle or looseness, even in rough weather. We pulled, painted and replaced 14 shutters and used these pins to put them back up. They worked perfectly. I did re-drill the holes since the original pins were broken off in the old holes.

I ordered a 48-pack and upon waiting more than a week for delivery I got a 36-pack. Product seems fine, but low score for inaccurate fulfillment and looong delivery time.

The plastic screws worked well as replacements after painting my older shutters. Only 2 bent, probably user error. These were sturdy and easy to use. Would buy again.
