Update: this looks to be a moen issue and efaucets has been fantastic with customer service. I've learned that the transfer valve (top) is included but the mixing valve is suppose to come with the trim... so it didn't come with the trim and thus causing confusion. If you get this part you will need a trim that starts with UT and it should have the mixing valve with it (bottom).I read over and over the description here and on Moen's site and choose this model as it had the features and it said it came with test cap, cartridges and mixing valves. Here is the exact wording "Moen U362CIS M-CORE 3-Series Mixing 3 or 6 Function Integrated Transfer Valve ... For M-CORE transfer valves, cartridges will be included with the valve."Now I have to call Moen and see if I can get the cartridge and delay my project further.

Lucky for us our plumber brought one with him when he came to do the job but after he open this one he realized it was broken prior to install.

Product was delivered as said. Good product: variable volume and manages 2 outlets from one or other or both

Please save yourself a TON of trouble, and buy your shower valve from a different company! I wish I had. I purchased this valve, and a very expensive trim kit, for my master bathroom remodel. It has leaked since the day I first turned the water back on - a steady drip, drip, drip from the shower head, even when the valve is in the off position. I have now been through 3 different cartridges, none of which fixed the problem. I was sent a "new" replacement valve from Moen (which I'm pretty sure was not new but used - see photos) and which required tearing open finished walls to replace. It still drips when in the off position. Very very frustrating experience, which still isn't resolved.

Had this Moen valve and trim kit installed by my plumber (who has nothing good to say about Grohe or Hans Grohe Bty) and have had zero issues so far. Works like a charm and trim looks great. Take it from an experienced contractor, I think most of the bad reviews on this are related to installs not performed by an experienced plumber.

The valve was bad. I had to purchase a new one. It would not turn the water off.

Update Feb 13 2022:After we installed the valve, we noticed that when one shower is used, no other shower gets hot water. Also the temperature setting is not consistent. For example, you stop in between shower and when you turn the shower back on, the water is extremely hot. We invested so much in the shower, but failed due to a small $100 valve. The valve design is very clean and simple. We used it in our shower with 2 devices, Rain shower and hand shower. The plumber did not have experience installing it and told its leaking and no water came out of the shower. He did not knew that the lower handle has to be lifted instead of turning. If you are installing please read the manual fully and watch the videos on youtube. And Moen customer service is the best i have had experience with who stand by their products for the lifetime.
