I love these scissors! I bought them to replace a previous cheap set that were brilliant to learn with but became blunt in a year. These are lovely to hold, good range in set, the thinners are particularly good. The blade length is great for clean lines and they look beautiful. I would definitely recommend.

I purchased this set of shears with a bit of concern since so many have stated the thinning shears did not work. I received the set today. I just got finished giving the set a try. I am very pleased with the results. Light weight, sharp, and yes, the thinning shears worked great! I would highly recommend.The only hiccup was Amazon delivering to the wrong address. Thankfully, they did post a photo and I recognized the location they delivered to.

I think these are so pretty but the best part is that they are affordable but not cheap. If you can't afford those crazy expensive sheers, this is a wonderful starter set or if you know what you're doing, for at home trims between grooming visits. Word to the wise, if you are an inexperienced pet owner wating to trim your pet, these are very sharp and we groomers have seen many owners butcher their dogs trying to trim at home. If you're totally new to trimming up, please purchase smaller sheers that you have more co tool over. These are long and wonderful if you know how to use them.

I bought these specifically for the thinning shears. However they are worthless. Hair gets stuck and pulls her fur. Other than that these are great and sturdy quality. Very sharp and easy to use. Cool color too. I’d recommend these. Get thinning shears elsewhere.

Quality, price overall function and aesthetics = 5 Stars!I am not a professional dog groomer but needed something for in between groomings. I have a sheepadoodle and his hair grows so fast and is always in his eyes. I ordered the purple set, which is absolutely gorgeous! The little red rhinestone detail gives these scissors such a fancy look! They are pretty but more importantly, the quality is excellent The curved scissors felt so much safer to use around my dog’s face and awkward areas. I felt less nervous using them which allowed my dog to be a lot calmer, which in turn, made for a smoother experience for both of us = better end result. The blending shears really help eliminate the sharp line/scissored look in the hair.If you are on the fence about ordering these, just do it! They will pay for themselves the first time you use them! Posting before and after pics of my dog, rather than the product.

The set is okay, gets the job done. Quality isn’t the best but they were inexpensive so I’m not that surprised. The scissors are all decent, the thinning shears don’t cut quite as well as I’d like. For a person grooming a pet or 2 at home they will do.

These are a dream come true -- so sharp, well balanced, beautiful to look at, and fit so perfectly in the hand. I am using them to groom Westies and Scotties and found the thinning shears to be absolutely wonderful on the beard and was able to get the perfect finish on the feet and other areas. Quality plus! Well made. Would purchase again as they area worth every penny spent. I have other scissors I have spent twice the money on and they don't compare to these. I highly recommend these as they have held their sharpness after much use. The case is a pleasure with a zipper that works well and you don't have to jam anything into place to close, keeping your scissors safe. A great buy!

Great low-cost option! I groom as part of my pet care business and have no real complaints about these shears. They arrived SHARP and have been used on quite a few dogs already. The edges they come with aren't perfect, but are definitely good enough to get the job done. Tension is easy to adjust, balance feels good and they are very comfortable to use. I have hand scissored a couple floofy dogs (shih tzu, havanese, etc) and have had zero problems with fatigue. My only complaint is that the thinners are a bit finicky (need to be very careful while breaking them in and figuring out your personal tension). I did catch the cutting blade with one of the thinner teeth before figuring out where I needed the tension to be, and definitely need to get them sharpened. But they are still perfectly useable until I get the cash together to send everything off, and I will absolutely keep these ready as a backup set when I am able to upgrade to higher quality professional shears.
