The knob is shown in instructions on top, but gravity can cause the holder to turn and guitars can fall. Solution is installing the holder BELIW the arm with knob facing down.

Overall assembled dimensions are just under 51" not 48 as stated in the product description. I bought this for a space just over 48" and am disappointed. Trimming to length means cutting through a significant amount of steel. Otherwise I like the product.

It is fine but was al little tricky to mount. We only have a couple instruments to hang and they hang fine, cannot speak to how it would hold up when fully stocked.

My situation was unique, so it took me about 4 hours to install. But I doubt you'll need that much time for a simple setup. Turned out great!

We're converting a spare bedroom into a music room and this has been incredibly handy for keeping all the guitars safe and easily accesslble. Might get a second one as we're inevitably acquiring more guitars (G.A.S. for you guitar folks).

Got this to get my guitars off the floor and add a bit of organization to my office. Install was very straightforward. I did end up using different wall anchors that I had just to make sure it was sturdy. The rail itself is made of metal with a woodgrain pattern on it. I was worried it would look cheap but it really looks great up on the wall. The arms are long enough to give clearance for the guitars so they don't hit the wall. I've got all five hooks used and this thing feels really sturdy! This is about half the price of the competition and I think it's worth every penny! would highly recommend this wall mount!
