I read plenty of reviews about how the pedal wouldn't turn left and to replace the springs with the CENTURY SPRING C-750 Compression Spring (2 Pack), 3/4", which I did. It is tricky to replace the springs. Take off the bottom, and there is a rocker over a small circuit board, be very careful with that.I took a stout Philips and tapped out the pivot rod ( take note to which way) and it springs apart, wiggle that plastic paddle so you don't break it or the circuit board. then it all comes apart, replace the springs, reverse order of disassembly.Then the pedal worked perfect!I would give it a 5 star, but come on, why use springs that no one likes.

Stock springs are a tad stiff but I don't find that to be as big an issue as some reviewers. Super easy to sync to my motor and intuitive controls, 10 outta 10 so far!

One sensor in my original foot pedal quit working and this was the easiest fix. Matches exactly what I had before. Works like a charm.

This is the 4th foot pedal that had the same problem. Works fine for just over a month (warranty is 30 days) and for no reason it stops working. The last pedal I bought lasted 35 days and motorguide will not warranty. I Will never buy a motorguide product again.

I really enjoyed this remote. Until the batteries needed changing. Since then, with brand new batteries installed it works less than 40% of the time. Very disappointed. When it works it's great! Very Unhappy

first pedal i bought the trolling motor wouldnt turn to the left, returned it and replacement work for about 6 months now it wont turn motor on, wont turn motor at all it beeps like its connected but has no functions cant return cause that window is up would not recommend this pedal, sucks cause the hand held remote is hard to use when fishing foot control is very stiff hard to turn motor a little at a time. better off buying differnet trolling motor with better foot pedals

This foot pedal was easy to set up although I had to put it up next to my ear to hear it beep when turning on and off. The pedal was harder to push forward and backward to turn the motor left and right and it was very hard to to push it just hard enough to move the motor a little, it would want to turn half way around before I could get my foot off of it. I sent it back. The hand control was easier to use.

Didn’t work out of the box. Unfortunately when I ordered it my boat was getting new fuel lines, paint and a new motor. It was several weeks after I got this that I got my boat back. By the time I tried it out my return period has ended so working with the manufacturer to get a replacement. Not happy so far! Overall quality of the pedal seems great hoping to get a working unit from the manufacturer.Update 09/2019The manufacturer offers little to no support just says find a repair facility. This is not a part they carry. They ordered a replacement after evaluating my motor and pedal but I got a replacement and have had no issues with it since.
