My feeder when I hooked up the battery wouldnt let me set anything. I Googled the problem and they suggested it was the digital timer was bad. There is a reset button on the back I pressed it and it wouldnt work either. I put a new battery on and still it didnt work. So I ordered this to replace it. Its been working just fine. Happy and it didnt cost me a whole new feeder motor unit. Ive now got 2 of the Moultrie feeders.

Ok, regular Moultrie product. I had to hard wire the connections for the motor on my model. Some time Moultrie changed the motor wiring; mine was hard soldered to the old timer panel board; then I had to splice the wires to the new timer. I had to remove the back of the timer in order to mount it in my feeder.Works fine; it just took an hour to make connections that should have been plug-n-play.

Best timer on the market IMHO. I have used several, and find that they last several year, but eventually wear out just not as quickly as the others and certainly not as fast as a Moultrie Game Camera.

We outfit and have a ton of feeders running. This is the only reasonable priced digital timer that will last longer than a year. I think the Texas hunter Feeder digital timer is a little better but you can buy three of the Moultrie for the price of one TH. All others are junk, just our opinion.

Unit is Moultries universal unit so it will work with many of their feeders, But it is not exact replacement. Original unit was fastened in weather proof box, new unit had to be forced in and does not attach to anything in box. Some of the features are not present on this timer, feed quantity / days remaining. Later found that you can purchase Moultrie pro kit Motor/ feeder all in one, for a few dollars more with all the original features, will be the way I go if timer fails again.

I have been using these timers for years and usually get at least 3-5 years of use out of them. Easy to set up and program. Over all, a pretty good timer for the price.

its not the same as the pro magnum feeder timer but with a few alterations it will work......hole for wires don't line up.....only single battery hookup and the Pro Magnum is for two batteries.....but that also is an easy fix.

I bought a different brand before this one because it was less expensive. It worked on my feeder 2 times and quit. Learn from my mistake and just buy this one that works the first time and keeps working. This one is so easy to set up a young kid could do it. The only ting I would change on this times would be to put a test button on it, other than that I will be switching all of my timers out to this one.
