Ordered it after my 15 year old 14/31 Murray kicked the belt off it. Changed it in 20 minutes and fit perfect. Works better than new

I recently bought one of these belts and naively read the belt replacement info for my Murray model 633128x43A blower, where it says:7. Remove the old auger drive belt (4) from the auger drive pulley (10) and from the engine pulley (11). Replace the auger drive belt (4) with an original factory replacement belt available from an authorized service center.8. Install the new auger drive belt (4) onto the auger drive pulley (10) and onto pulley (11).I expected a quick, simple replacement, based on the above text and the deceptive drawings in the manual. Reality time: anyone who believes that piffle should contact me about my beachfront property in Death Valley. Be prepared for a time-consuming, frustrating war against the machine.» The only fairly easy way to remove the old belt is to cut it.» The only way to get the new belt around the auger pulley is to force it between the pulley mounting nut and the nut that holds the wheel drive pulley. The gap between them is not sufficient to slide it through, although tying the drive handle makes the gap larger. Tap it gently with a wooden strip to wedge it between the nuts. It won't take a lot of force.» To get the belt under the belt guide on the auger idler pulley frame requires brute force to flex the auger pulley enough to get the belt past the frame. This has the potential to damage the new belt, so be careful.» If you get that far, the rest of the reassembly is fairly easy. Be sure that the belt is fully engaged with the auger pulley. It might run over the rim of the pulley during installation.» To adjust the idler pulley, loosen the nut holding the pulley and slide it inward toward the belt (the idler frame is slotted). The adjustment will be proper if, with the auger handle depressed, the side of the belt opposite the pulley flexes about half an inch. One thing to note: because the belt is new, it is possible that the auger will rotate a bit even with the drive handle released. Do NOT adjust the idler pulley until the auger doesn't rotate. Adjust it to specs and let it break itself in, being aware that for a while the auger might turn even with the handles released.Best of luck, and have an ample supply of naughty words on hand. :-)

This was the correct belt for my Yard King 33" 12 HP snowblower. This part number replaces the old belt. Seems to be an upgrade as it is wider than the old one. My snowblower now throws snow ~9 feet or more.
