Satisfied with the edge quality and hardness for bike cable trimming. For cable sheath sizing I use a Dremel cutoff wheel otherwise the scissors type cutoff like these requires a difficult step to restore the inner circumference.

As advertised and a quality tool. Works well for cutting the metal seals on trailers. Price is very affordable. Will definitely recommend this product.

Had lent a friend my previous pair of cable cutters which I'd had for years from HF.The had worked ok, but for as long as the handles were it seemed to take a lot of force.Anyway, my friend then proceeded to cut some very heavy gauge wires and after being returned they couldn't cut a string let alone metal. I bought these but was quite skeptical as they are so small.But boy oh boy was I wrong. Soooo nice. I pretty much cut 3/32" steel cable with occasionally 1/8".These are VERY good and less expensive than what I had before. Recommend.

My wire cutters could not cut through the twisted kiln element ends. Cut no problem.

I haven't tried these on thicker cable, yet, but they initially work great on 1/8" stock.

The cable cutters made cutting the cables a breeze. Would highly recommend getting the cutters to do the cable railing.
