NEARPOW outdoor timer is an on-off cycle repeat timer. It can not take replace a 24-hour timer which runs by clock time or a 7-day weekly timer which allows you to set the day of week.

NOTICE
1. The sum of the power output of the appliances used with the timer switch should not exceed the specified power rating of the timer switch. This could lead to the timer switch burning or even causing a fire. Please check the specified Voltage and Load for your specified timer switch model.
2. The timer needs to be plugged into a power socket in order to use.
3. When the running time and stop time are set, if the confirm button is not pressed at the end, the device will not start to work and will return to the long-off state after 3 minutes.
4. After setting the "DAY ONLY" or "NIGHT ONLY"mode, if you manually change the brightness to test whether the device is sensitive to light, you need to power off and then power on. Because the device has done anti-interference treatment, if the power is uninterrupted, the device will be in the correct working state after a delay of about 12 minutes after changing the light.
5.In order to protect the screen from damage during transportation, a screen protection film has been placed over the screen.If you don'tlike this film, or if the film has been scratched, you can completely remove it. Doing so will leave no marks on the screen itself.
6. Please don't let the socket come into the water.
3 Mode of Continuous Intervals
Cycle At Day Time
For example, you can set the sprinkler it is turned on for 10 minutes and turned off for 1 hour on daytime.This continues to cycle.
24-hour Infinite Cycle Mode
For example, it can setting the fountain turned on for 10 minutes and turned off for 1 hour, and never stop. This continues to cycle.
Cycle At Night Time
For example,it is turned on for 10 minutes and turned off for 1 hour on night time.This continues to cycle.

The timer turned out to work better than I thought it would. I needed to turn on an aerator pump it shorter run times instead of constantly running. This even let me set 10 minutes on, 20 minutes off so it cycles all day. If I need it to run more or less often, I can just change the time setting on either end.

This unit only lasted one month. Doesn’t have very many options as far as setup.No longer puts power out when it is commanded to.

Using this to intermittently run a water transfer pump for a solar heating setup for my pool. Super easy to program and does exactly what I need it to do. Run for 45sec off for 15 mins and only runs during daylight.

My intended use was to be able to set a pump to run for a specific amount of time (like 2 hours) and then automatically turn off and stay off. I never really figured out how to program it to do that because it seems to always want an interval (period of on, period of off, period of on, repeat...). I made it work for my purpose by just setting the period of off time to be really long (like 9999 hours) so it never completes the off cycle after the first on cycle. Nicer documentation on the different modes would have been appreciated both pre-sale and post-sale. But, I made it work and it has been working fine out in the rain and seems robustly built.

I was using a smart plug for our Hydroponic garden tower but after it failed to operate correctly 3 times and cause major issues, I opted for a simpler timer.This timer was exactly what I needed. I could set the on and off times and it worked reliably from then on. The garden produced a lot of herbs for us without needing to constantly monitor the water flow.
