I just started using it, but tools seem sturdy and appropriately sharp.I'm using the files on a soft wood assembly project - it needed some filing to get it to fi together.So far it works well.4 stars due to several fraying threads on the pouch. I'm hoping it doesn't fall apart....

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

This is a great compact little set in one convenient case. Great for small detailed work.I have a few jewelry and wood projects that these have been helpful with.

I use these a lot around the shop now, especially for woodworking. They are small enough to fit most spaces and work great. They come in a bag which is great since these are small. Lots of options to choose from.

I would be very surprised if this set doesn't have an appropriate file for all your projects. My tool box has always had big files. I can remember needing small files and desperately trying to get the job done with a big file which is not ideal. This is a very good assortment of small files with a nice case for storage. The files all look like they are well made and should last a lifetime. It is a versatile set as the different files can be used on various diverse materials . Basically, there are two types of files plus a wire brush to clean the files or perhaps brush off burrs. A good file set to have at your disposal.
