I would really rather this not have hardwired cabling on the audio output side, but for certain users this would probably be a big benefit - no extra cables to buy and an overall reduced footprint that can be tucked away a bit more easily. Functionality wise, can't complain - it does what it says on the tin without issue, and it's pretty neat that the same device can serve as a BT receiver *and* a very basic TOSlink DAC. If you are looking for one of these and the hardwiring works for your preferences, this seems like a good choice.

I've been enjoying using this DAC so far. I have a CD player that I love using, but the DAC in it kinda sucks. Using this cable, I'm able to get much better audio out of it. The sound quality of this DAC has been pretty good with my speaker system. No complaints there. It's got a nice length, but the optical side of the cable is detachable in you need to replace it with something longer. The bluetooth functionality is a nice inclusion, and allows you to add Bluetooth to any audio system. Overall, great DAC for the price. Highly recommend!

Connecting my vintage stereo system to modern digital sources had been a frustrating challenge until I discovered this Neoteck DAC. The immediate improvement in sound quality was remarkable—noticeably cleaner highs and richer bass compared to my previous basic converter. The 192kHz capability has revealed subtle details in my favorite albums that I'd never noticed before, especially in orchestral and jazz recordings. I was particularly impressed with the Bluetooth 5.1 implementation, which maintains stable connections from up to 30 feet away through walls, solving the problem of having my streaming devices in another room. The 7-foot cable provided perfect flexibility for my entertainment center setup without requiring additional extensions. Setup was remarkably straightforward—truly plug-and-play with my TV, streaming box, and turntable all connecting without driver installations or complicated configurations. After two months of daily use across multiple audio sources, there's been zero signal dropout or quality degradation. The premium audio amplifier chip delivers noticeably better performance than expected at this price point, making this converter an exceptional value for anyone looking to modernize their audio setup while preserving investment in quality older equipment.

This little device is fantastic for enabling devices to connect that otherwise wouldn't be able to. I'm using it to be able to connect my phone to my audio receiver in my garage that is 20+ years old. Now I can listen to streaming music and not just a static radio broadcast. There are other uses for connecting to a TV or other device per the instruction booklet. My phone was able to pair to the Bluetooth without issue, and the audio sounded great.

Bluetooth connected ok but sound level was low. Product casing was fragile and power component fell apart.

As a vintage audio enthusiast, I often need to connect a Bluetooth source to a vintage stereo receiver or amp. I have used many devices such as this one before, but this one is my current favorite. This is due to the fact that it has great fidelity and very good range. It is very easy to hook up. This Neotek device is also useful for its ability to turn optical digital output audio to analog. Many current TVs don't have analog out but have optical digital, so if you want to connect to an older analog only device, this is exactly what you need. While I am very pleased with the sound quality produced by this Neoteck device, there are a couple of things I noticed which you may want to know about. Each time I wanted to connect this to my iPhone I did need to go into settings and choose "Neoteck" as it did not automatically pair. Also, although I applaud the inclusion of the USB power adapter being included in the package, the transformer supplied produced an audible rhythmic thump on quiet musical passages with the volume turned up on my amp. The power adapter is a universal USB type 5-volt adapter and using a different one, which I already had, fixed this problem. This is why the 4 stars instead of 5 but otherwise I think this is a very good device especially given the price.

This little adapter receives audio signal from Toslink optical and outputs to stereo male RCA cables. It requires a USB power source, possibly available from your TV, or using the included wall jack USB adapter.Connection was simple, and there are no buttons or settings to adjust, it just works! The RCA cables are fixed to the unit, but the included Toslink cable can be substituted for a longer one if required for your situation. My TV had developed a faulty in the headphone jack which I was using to connect my home theater to the TV, and would crackle with static sporadically and I hadn't been able to use for 6 months. With this adapter, it was reconnected within 5 minutes and sounds great!I wasn't interested in the Bluetooth functionality of the unit, but that adds to the value of an already good price point. I would definitely recommend this to connect an optical output to an older stereo.
