Great scanner that can be used for multiple different things I use into scan arcades, serial numbers that are hard to see or reach. This tool is excellent for techs or engineers whom work Iba tight space.

It’s super compact, making it easy to carry around in your pocket, but it’s packed with power. It connects seamlessly with Windows, Android, iOS, and even tablets and computers, so it works across all my devices. The scanning is quick and accurate, whether it's QR codes or regular barcodes. The wireless feature is fantastic for convenience, and it saves so much time with automatic scanning. If you need a portable, reliable scanner for work or personal use, this one is a must-have!

This thing is PURE TRASH. It's built like garbage. It took one fall from 2 feet for the tip of it to split open and I couldn't get it back together. It has a red bar to aim the scanner when you press the button but it doesn't read what is in the red bar. If there are any other barcodes in close proximity, it reads UNDER it. Even then you can't really get a good idea of how to aim it to scan the barcode you want in a group of them.Also... It does NOT read Data Matrix 10-mil. (This is the tiny QR code on the corners of Intel processors.)This was NOT worth $100.

The NETUM Bluetooth Mini 2D Barcode Scanner is great for anyone who runs a small business. I own a little store dedicated to supporting children who are survivors of abuse; It is only a small store, but this scanner has made our lives so much easier! It’s super compact, which is perfect for our limited space. I can easily toss it in my bag when I’m out and about, and it’s lightweight enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to carry around. The 3-in-1 wireless connectivity is a lifesaver! It connects seamlessly with various devices, whether I’m using my phone, tablet, or laptop. Scanning barcodes is easy, and I can manage inventory and sales without any trouble at all.One thing I really appreciate is how reliable it is. We’ve had our share of tech headaches in the store, but this little gadget just works without any trouble at all. It scans quickly and accurately, which helps us keep things running smoothly, especially during busy days. Having a good battery life is essential for us because we can’t afford downtime. I’ve noticed that the battery lasts quite a while, which is fantastic. I can go through a whole day of scanning without worrying about it dying on me. Plus, if it does run low, it charges up pretty quickly, which is a bonus when you’re in the middle of a busy shift!Overall, I can’t recommend the NETUM Bluetooth Mini 2D Barcode Scanner enough. If you’re looking for a versatile and portable scanning solution that won’t let you down, this is it! It's made a huge difference in how we operate our store, making it easier for us to focus on what really matters—helping those kids!

My wife has loved having this little wireless scanner to use for keeping track of all of her books on the growing bookshelves throughout our home. It works quickly and responds within a second of pulling the trigger and aiming at a barcode, and seamlessly connected to both her phone and laptop.

I've tested a few of the Netum scanner's before, and this compact C990 works better than many other brands. I don't think it's remarkably better than the Netum C750, however. It still wants to slip out of my hand, however, and it could really benefit from some rubber grips on the side of the scanner.Performance is excellent for such a small unit - If you're OK with the default symbologies... If you need to scan Aztec, Han Xin, Maxicode, Chinese 2 of 5, anything postal, Korean 3 of 5 or any stacked DataBars, you may be out of luck - even though the product page says they are supported. The included manual is helpful, but has lots of errors in it, including the URL for Netum's very own website. It's not .com, it's .NET. Once you're on the website, there is a product page for the C990, but the documentation is a blend of crap from several other scanners, most of which doesn't work or isn't applicable for the C990. Even the so-called "full" user manual is actually just a screwed-up version of the v820 manual, and most of the config codes in that manual don't even work. I could not enable Aztec, MaxiCode or Matrix 2 of 5, even though they listed configuration codes (that don't work). There's also multiple pages in the manual that are entirely blank... I docked a star for poor documentation and editing.I did most of my configuration and testing using my monitor, and didn't have much problem scanning codes directly from the monitor - as long as you make the effort to eliminate glare and reflections.I really like the built in vibrate motor and the ability to mute the beeper. For a compact scanner, this is a great option.Yes, I would recommend this compact C990 scanner, IF you're OK with the built-in symbol vocabulary and don't need to enable "special" functions. If you do require advanced config options, I would not recommend this scanner.

I don't see what the price tag difference was worth. I compared it to my C750 (The supposedly downgraded version), and I could not see any improvement in scanning distance. Description says that you can scan at longer distance but I didn't find that it was any different. There was nothing scientific about my tests, your mileage may vary. Either way for the price it still worth, for any model, including this one! 🚀
