The wood and arm on this unit both have a nice appealing appearance. The chrome plastic to cover the arm screw looks a little cheap, but I doubt folks will be closely inspecting this on your wall. The install was pretty standard for a hangar requiring drywall anchors, and the unit attached firmly to the wall. One point of caution, this type of unit is harder to get perfectly upright as there is no flat side for a level - there are still ways to do it, but I was happy enough with eyeballing it.

Before My review, I wish to state I received this item though Amazon Vine. However, I pride myself in my honest, unbiased, and detailed reviews. The hooks came quickly, and were packaged in three small separate boxes like a little cube. compared to my existing hooks there are of decent quality and strength. The quality is basic, but nice. Logo recessed text, which I prefer in most of my products. The colors are accurate to the product page. The rubber on the arms could be a little thicker for more cushion against the guitars, but it is still adequate. I feel like the size of the back plate should have been larger, to help distribute the load on the wall better, but it still solid. I would recommend them.

These are a nice looking set of 3 guitar holder/hooks for the wall. These are sturdy enough to hold a full size electric guitar, and they work well for any standard guitar or bass. They can be used with a Ukulele, but I had to get a piece of foam type tubing insulation the correct size to fit over the existing padding on the hooks at a hardware store to add a little more thickness so that my Ukulele didn't sit so low in the hook. It wasn't actually necessary, but I like the way it looks better. Like some others, I also didn't care for the chrome piece at the connection where the hook meats the wood, as it is obviously chrome plastic, and the chrome just looked out of place with the wood and the brass screws. I solved that with a light quick sanding to rough up the surface, and a couple of quick spritzes from a can of semi-gloss black spray paint. They look great now, since you can't tell they are plastic, and they hold up just fine. These hangers were easy to install, as they come with an adhesive template to use on the wall for drilling to place screws or anchors to mount them with, which is a very thoughtful touch. I think these are well worth the price, and are a good product, I only deducted a star for the kind of less than optimum finish on the plastic collar. I still think they are worth your consideration for purchase though.

These are decent hangers and will do the job fine. I really liked, "The Package". It has all you need from the very ample mounting hardware, the template, to the detailed instructions. I really love the solid wood block. That was the main selling point for me. I love natural things. The hook has an ample "Non Peeling" Rubber sleeve. Time will tell on that one but I sure hope it doesn't peel and lasts a long time because if the rubber sleeve were to peel off, that would render these near useless.The things I didn't like: The metal part of the hook where it's welded it looks like they didn't get a good coating of paint on the sturdy metal hook, see photos. That area of the hook also felt like it could have sharp or jagged edges a little where maybe it should have been run across a wire brush or grinder to smooth that out a bit before painting. Yeah, I'm nit picking. The other thing I didn't like was the chrome colored "PLASTIC" bushing. It looks great. Hopefully the chrome won't peel like these things tend to do over time. I would like to have seen these made with real metal. The plastic is so light and cheap feeling and to me that doesn't go with the Solid wood aspect of the quality. Also see the photo of the plastic part top. You can see the white on each side where it was molded and then snapped off the mold. So those two spots are not smooth and not chromed. And you can still see those two spots when it's mounted to the wooden block, (if you look closely), yeah I know, more nit picking. It's the little things sometimes that mean the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Overall I like them, as there are a lot of pluses here too.
