Bought as a replacement for my busted fire pit cover.Need to assemble but takes all of 5 minutes, love the hinged feature, easy to add wood etc.sturdy design, hopefully will last for years to come.

Now we are able to safely burn and not worry about embers flying around and possibly making contact with the surrounding trees. Easy to assemble. Nice quality metal. Nice finish.

Purchased this screen in December for a seasonal site. Just opened it (march17) and put it together. While putting it together I found that the holes did not line up together (drilled new hole to fit) there was no hole at the bottom in between the handle to connect the screen. The handle holes lined up so it was put together right. When all done the inner screen and outer screen have such a big gap. Larger than the other screen we had before. I am not happy with this product. Was too late to return and there was no number to call the company . Not happy.

I ordered this last summer and finally put it together last week and this thing is not made very well! Many of the holes do not match up. There is a gap where the one piece folds into the other piece to open the cover so you can add more things to the fire. So of course, ashes fly everywhere! I was missing a screw & a bolt for the handle on top! The actual net covering is very flimsy, so I doubt this fire pit cover will last very long! Not to mention the directions were very vague on how to put this together. They were supposed to be pieces A & B, but the directions never showed you what pieces were A and B, the pieces were not marked A and B, So you just had to figure it out! For the money spent on this, it definitely was not worth it! I’m sure by the summer we will have to purchase another cover! Will definitely be looking for a more sturdy heavyweight cover!

This cover can work but even with a little tweaking it does not work well. The instructions ask you to screw two large pieces together and the two small pieces. However, it is very had to tell the large from the small without a tape measure. After you do get it all together the inside shell hits the handle screw of the outer shell piece. This requires you to install the all the screws near the handle on the outer shell upside down. This at least allows the inner shell to move. However, once it does get to move it rubs the inside of the outer shell.To make it easier to put together, start by measuring the spine of each piece and label them with blue tape. The end result may vary because mine to either be designed poorly or the pieces were assembled poorly at the factory. It's ok for the price but I will buy a better on after this rusts out.
