The gripper looks nice and good for two times use only. Forget to use it for three times. That's what happened to me. When I caught a fish and try to grip it with this gripper, it was opening's stuck and hard to grip the fish, I had to use my other hand to help the gripper to hold. I have clean it with (WD-40) to drives out moisture and lubricate it but still the same.I'm realy disapointed to pay S.R138 ($37) for something to be used for two times only. Please take care, I don't recommand.

Although it works great it's not the most ergonomic. I do like the ability to fold it out for bigger fish. Had to modify a little to be able to use with a hand scale. Well worth the money though

Got this for the kids since they don’t like to touch fish. Works great on catfish, strippers, bass and other large fish. It also extends for added reach if you need.

Works great as a short (folded) or long (unfolded fish grips) a must have when fishing alone and trying to land big fish on light tackle.

Okay, I needed a fish gripper and this was new on the scene but boy did I luck out. This is really nice. It comes with a sheath (or holster) that attaches to your belt upon which a lanyard is attached so if you drop it overboard, it's not lost. It can be used unopened or open. Haven't had a chance for any sharks this year but open, it will keep your hands away from any sharp teeth whether shark, blue fish, pickerel etc..I also like how it will fit the "holster" whether open or closed. Closed it sits tighter to the body but it fits snugly no matter what. One fish grip jaw is mounted solidly to the frame by pins. You aren't going to pull this out. I could hang myself by it. Definitely worth buying if you want to get a "grip"on your fish. Love it.
