The JJC LH-N52 BLACK Lens Hood is especially designed for use with selected Nikkor Z lenses.
Features a non-glare matte finish on the interior surface, the hood can further prevent or limit lens flare. And no vignetting will show with the hood on. With the
extended lens end, you will also get the added benefit of some extra protection from accidental impact.
Made of premium aluminium alloy, the lens hood is sturdy and provides years of reliable use.
The hood doesn’t affect the use of a Ф52mm filter and the original NIK. lens cap.

I use this lenshood on both the 28mm lens and the 40mm lens. The lenshood screws into a U/V filter attached to my 28mm lens and directly into my 40mm lens, with no issues. Also, the front lens cap is easily attached to both lenses with the lenshood attached as well.

Great attachment for your Nikkor lens. No Vignetting and shields the lens nicely. Cheaper than the Nikon alternative.

I don't know why Nikon doesn't supply the lens hood for the 50-250 lens. I typically prefer to buy name brand. But the Nikon hood was so over-priced I took a chance with the JJC hood instead. Compared with the lens hood for my 24-70 lens, this hood seems just as well made and just as sturdy. It fits perfectly, and I have seen no evidence of vignette. It reverses properly for storage, and clicks solidly in place both for storage and for use. It is a much lower price alternative that is well worth considering, even for those like me who prefer the name brand products.

Fits the lens and clicks in place nicely both in the in-use and reversed positions. Feels as rigid as the official Nikon lens hoods and similarly finished at a much lower price. No complaints here.
