Made from high-quality aluminium with black powder-coating finish, they allow users to give the cooler a sleek stealth look that is right at home in all-black builds and goes nicely with many other popular colour schemes. Thanks to the easy, straightforward installation, changing the looks of your NH-D15(S) cooler only takes a few minutes and doesn’t even require taking it off the CPU. Combined with chromax.black.swap edition NF-A15, fans, the two NA-HC4 chromax.black covers give you the option to turn your NH-D15(S) into an all-black powerhouse that looks just as great as it cools.

Noctua’s chromax line heatsink covers are a perfect match for the black industrialPPC and chromax.black.swap fans, both of which can be colour-customised using chromax anti-vibration pads and cables (available in black, white, red, blue, green and yellow).
Easy installation
Installing Noctua’s chromax line heatsink covers is child’s play: Put the fixture on top of the cooler, secure it with the steel clip, slide on the cover until the magnets snap into place – done! You don’t even have to remove the cooler from the CPU or take off the fan.
Endless options for customisation
Do you want to give your entire heatsink a custom colour to take things one step further? While spray-painting heatsinks is difficult and reduces performance, Noctua’s powder-coated chromax covers can easily be repainted with custom colours and decorations.

Please Note:
These covers will increase the height of the heatsink by 5mm (from 160 to 165mm) and the width by 3mm (from 150mm to 153mm). Please make sure that your case offers sufficient clearance and that the covers don’t make contact with any other components such as PCIe cards!

I went back and forth on getting these for a while. They aren’t necessary and don’t improve or decrease performance. They are strictly for looks and after installing them I think they look pretty good. Gives my NH15 cooler a smoother polished looked.Installing them is pretty easy, can be done in a few minutes but you need to remove the fans to do so. Overall I really like it, I just wish it was cheaper. $30 is pretty steep but it is Noctua, nothing they sell is cheap!

This was a nice finish to cap off my Noctua DH-15 Cooler. I'm not opposed to leaving the heatsink and tubes expose, but I am digging this clean look as well.This was super easy to install as well. It is simply a clip that attaches to the heatsink fin and then the cover slides over top to the clip and a magnet holds it down in place. No screws or messing around with the fins.

Cleans up the look of my cooler. A little pricey but better than buying a new cooler. Wish they had the chromax words etched into it or even their logo, the white on black kinda kills the clean look

We all know that when it comes to aesthetics, air coolers really are way far from water coolers. But at least with this types of accessories it helps to make it look better. Way to go Noctua!

Theses came packaged well.I got Black cause perfect for my streamline look. Why? You did see the color of the fan set up right? well I didn't like brown /tan dull . to each their own. lolNow be careful there are silver clips on the cardboard. Don't throw away you need them to attach to the grill. It comes with 6 pieces. 2 clips 2 grey pieces and the 2 classy covers. Instructions included.You can attach these after they are in the case. Just with care.So easy to attach you might think you got it wrong.There is a fan replacement too. Just look here on amazon. Make sure size and type of fan is correct for your CPU fan. I gave a review on that too. lol

I got to give noctua props for finally getting onto the customization train. It’s amazing to see how much of a difference a couple of covers can make aesthetically.Installation was a breeze. Just take note and attach the fans BEFORE you put on the final coverings.To me the price was up there for what you get, which are essentially a couple of aluminum covers. BUT that gripe was immediately dismissed once they were installed, as they make the look of my pc much more pleasing. So I’d say it was worth every penny and a definite recommend.

Another winner from Noctua! These were very easy to apply to my Noctua NH-D15S CPU cooling heatsink and they work by ducting the cooling air THROUGH the cooling fins rather than allowing some of it to escape at the edges. They do not require removal of the heatsink from the CPU to install, so the precess was about a 5-minute job, requiring no tools at all. I am thoroughly impressed with the engineering and build quality of Noctua products! As is the case with other components I've bought from Noctua, the installation directions were clear and easy to follow.
