My main grievance for this portafilter is that, compared to my more premium ones, it is too shallow for any dose over 18 grams. It means you often lose grinds when you try to tamp it down. It seems the manufacturer was much more concerned with aesthetic than making it practical.

Doesn’t fit Profitec Go, waste of money with leaky seal.

This is a tight fit on the Profitec Pro 300 - much tighter than the stock ECM portafilter. I think the lugs are just a little bit thicker, and it requires a lot more effort to align and then lock in. And the handle likes to come a bit loose from the head (but it's an easy re-tightening to fix). So it's not very pleasant to use - but it does work. And it holds a Weber Unibasket unlike the ECM bottomless portafilter, which is all I asked of it.tldr - If you're a Profitec/ECM owner looking for a portafilter to play with your new Weber Unibasket (or Sworks or other new school wide-bottom high-throughput basket), you might want to look elsewhere.

I've been a fan of normcore accessories for coffee usually, but this one misses the mark. It feels cheap, grip/ergonomics are bad, the material is very slippery and unpleasant to the touch. Very light and unsubstantial compared to the original ascaso portafilter and even my previous breville one.Second star is because it is still on the cheap side of naked portafilters and will do the job if you are looking for a reasonably well made portafilter that is black.

Recently picked up the Anza Concrete machine. I love the ceramic portafilter handle, but it comes with double spouts. They’re currently out of stock for their (Anza) bottomless portafilter, so I searched for a body to swap with.If you’re looking to do the same, even with another machine, the thread size is 10mm. You should be able to unscrew the handle from the body no problem. The tabs are a standard E61 size. The weight is balanced, and the aluminum handle is really nice for those who don’t intend to swap.Really solid product from Normcore!

Great portafilter alternative for E61 COMPATIBLE MACHINES ONLY!!Most the negative reviews are from buyers not doing proper research and understanding their machine. Do not be that guy… Normcore sells over 5 different 58mm bottomless portafilters.Research people

Medium quality, the clip holding the basket isn't fully compatible with ridgeless baskets (like some of VST baskets and pro baskets) and needs upgrading.

The ear’s angle are slightly different from my Profitec stock portafilter and little thinner.Need to crank really hard at first few uses with my new machine or it will leak, works fine once it seat in.
