I bought this to fix my TPMS on my 2018 GMC ACADIA. The TPMS on the left rear stopped working. Bought this unit because it showed to work on more manufacturers than some.I used the instructions in my car manual to get TPMS into learn mode. This device worked like a charm.

This is a must have!! If your sensors go out you can reset without having to go to the dealership. It will also assist you in identifying one out of four sensors (change one not four) saved me money.

My husband rotated his tires & had to relearn the TPMS on his 17 Silverado HC. According to the internet there is a manual way to do this & another using this tool. Don’t believe the internet, the manual way only works for older Chevys. This worked for us but note if you have our year/model, you have 2 mins. to program all 4 tires. Procedure with the driver information center (DIC) in dash, get in your truck, close the door & turn the key to ACC/ON, but don’t turn the engine on. If you have day time running light or auto lights, turn the dial to off. Using the controls on the steering wheel, arrow up or down to your TPMS screen. Press & hold the checkmark until the screen shows Tire Learning Active. Your truck should honk & the driver side front turn signal should be on. Open the door & leave open, & go to your driver side front tire & aim the antenna right below the valve stem about 2-3 inches max from the tire (yes the tire below the valve stem), then press & hold the button. When the tire is programmed, the horn will honk 1x. The next light should be the passenger side front, repeating the step of aiming the antenna & pressing & holding the button until the horn honks 1x. Passenger side rear should be next, then driver side rear. If successful, your truck will honk 2x to complete programming. If not, all you’ll do is clear the TPMS & you’ll need to start over. Hope this helps!

I was surprised how fast this worked to activate the tpms on a 2008 Subaru Legacy. I could not do it alone with an Autel IMO608. With both tools the tpms sensors were activated in under 3min.

My 2008 Chevy Impala showed a Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) fault after a tire dealer replaced one of the tire pressure sensors. On previous random occasions I have been able to do a tire position matching procedure, per the Chevy owner's manual, that would correct the fault message, but it was not working this time because of one tire pressure sensor (TPS) not responding in the re-set sequence. Decided to risk the $8 cost and see if this tool would get a set-response from that one TPS along with the other three. IT WORKED - instantly! Fault display extinguished and all TPS positions gave correct pressure readings on the dash display. This probably saved me $200 or $300 for diagnosis and repair at a dealer, maybe more if they goofed it up worse. The tool is seldom needed by an individual, but for the price and convenience I'll hang onto it!
