I want to love this product bc it has a very mild smell and you can’t even feel it on your skin. I’ve been using it on myself and my 2 year old and we just keep getting eaten up by mosquitos anyways. Maybe will look into a product that has a higher % of Picaridin bc I still don’t really want to use Deet.

There is no better bug spray than Off! It works exceptionally well and doesn’t leave you smelling like repellant all day.

I'm one of those persons who will get bit repeatedly as soon as I go outside...tried so many different things, and want to avoid the deet stuff. read the good reviews of this and decided to try it. yes, it actually does work, but you have to be liberal with it, and make sure you cover it everywhere skin is exposed (I found several spots I must have missed that I ended up getting bit on). the other nice thing about it is, as other reviews said, it is not oily, greasy, sticky, or odorous at all!! goes on and dries immediately, love that about it. apparently this "picaradin" stuff works and is not toxic (I looked that up). curious thing is, while the research says it doesn't actually kill mosquitos, I noticed that when one mosquito landed on me, I decided to spray it directly, and it immediately fell off and hit the ground and just laid there, I assumed it was dead...so this shows it works!

My wife has been buying all-natural bug repellents lately and I find that they're only fully effective about 30 minutes, partially effective 60 minutes, and ineffective after 90 minutes. We have no-see-ums and mosquitoes galore and I get destroyed doing yard work, especially late in the afternoon. Figured I'd give this spray a try since picaridin should work better than the natural stuff but isn't as nasty or plastic melting as deet. The can has a nice even spray, it's easy to get good coverage without wasting product. There's a very strong (though not totally unpleasant) smell when spraying and for a minute or two after but then it totally disappears. The spray dries fast and doesn't feel greasy or gross. I would say it's fully effective for 90 minutes and partially effective up to 3 hours. I get very few bites in that time and will reapply if I'm planning to be outside still at that point. I might still buy a deep woods formula with deet if I was camping/hiking in the wilderness but for around home this stuff is great.Only negative is that it's kind of expensive for the quantity you get, especially if you're trying to spray a whole family, but it's worth a few bucks to not get covered in bites.Update: I went through my first can in maybe 8 uses, so I bought a couple more. The original can had a very strong volatile almost fruity smell when spraying but faded to nothing after a minute. The new can has less smell when spraying but has a lasting scent I can only describe as cheap cologne. Still sprays as well and is just as effective but I liked the other one with no scent better. Same product, don’t know why it’s different.
